So, we have been told that we will have to use fences to sell stolen items. Will we be able to sell stolen items in guild stores? Reason I ask is (for example) rare motifs and recipes are most common in banks and castles. These items will surely be owned. Rare motifs in guild stores can sell for 30,000-100,000g (or more), but NPC vendors only pay about 10g(?) for them. What is your answer to this? Thank you.

yep, motifs and recipes will really skyrocket in price with update 6. I would not be surprized to see daedric for 500k again.

And just when the economy was starting to stabilize.

Only to fences.. so NO on selling in guild stores.

And.. if you find a motif in a dungeon instead of a house, it isnt owned. They are just making it harder and more costly to ransack houses in town, like all the bots and macro players are doing.

Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

The Justice System developer said in ESO Live that you can pay a portion of item's price to launder the item, removing the stolen tag. This is how you would go about cleaning a motif before selling in a guild store.

Stabilize? You're kidding right? There isn't enough stuff in the economy to be anything CLOSE to stable. Me and quite a few other people walk around with 500k to 4mil gold because we have nothing to do with it. There's no economy at all.

Myself and two other people I know sold a few items at 20k each (and by a few I mean less than 5). We didn't make our money by selling items at outrageous prices... 500k for a motif is a bit out of line but don't go claiming the economy is going to be out of whack for it. There has to be one first. As is, the ONLY economy this game has is when a new motif is introduced, you get one month, and then it sells at an incredibly slow rate for a low value. Outside of that you've got some items that are incredibly overpriced. Then nothing. There's nothing out there that we can continue to push into the economy that can maintain a stable value. THAT would be a stable economy, something that can be sold between players for a stable value for a long duration, not a month.

WTB an economy before people complain that it's out of line.

You put it better than I would have. Yeah.. as far as I am concerned, there is NO economy in game.. the lack of a common area to sell stuff that I know I would be making coin on in other games without trying makes it feel that way.

Some of my early adventures of buying items listed in the EQ auction hall and selling them to a vendor because some genius missed a zero when he priced him got me started in being a game merchant. Made our guild and me a good bit of coin. In this game.. meh.. its far easier just to vendor or decon.

BTW, definition of economy: ": the process or system by which goods and services are produced, sold, and bought in a country or region" Country or region... hmmm..
