Actually, as slow as I level and with ESO raising the level cap periodically, I would probably never reach the end either way. But since VR14 is already there, why not add the Constellation system to the end of that, rather than at the end of level 50?
Keep in mind the champ system is going to have "thresholds" in each constellation. After x amount of points, a passive will unlock that subsequently improves with every additional point spent in that constellation. I see what your saying, and this will be my solution to our shared conflict.I, for one, enjoy the sense accomplishment in leveling my character. I even have the "Slightly Improved Experience Bar" add-on to watch my progress towards the next level as it goes up each percentage point. I like working towards that next level when I can craft new armor and go new places. I liked it in 1-50. And I like it in Veteran Ranks. There is something awesome about finally hitting that next level (especially in VR), getting that attribute point/skill point and finally being able to craft that shiny new armor with that new material.
Somehow I just don't see how "Getting a point to put into some constellation that's going to improve my weapon damage by 0.01%" is going to replace that.
totally agree, the only thing keeping me going in vr content right now is knowing that the experience I gain is going towards future champion points. I commend anyone who went vr14 without exploiting crag grinds.OrangeTheCat wrote: »When it comes to VR levels, I don't feel a sense of accomplishment when I obtain one; I feel a sense of relief.

Somewhere it was said there will be a cap, but the amount is unknown to me. So there may be 25k points, but you will have to specialize.firstdecan wrote: »The Champion system will have 25,000+ points, each taking about an hour to acquire. That's over 12 years of work if you put 40 hours a week into the game (the same as a full time job). Once you've gotten all the Champion points, you will have a tremendous sense of accomplishment, one that has been 12 years in the making.
