Ravaging Potions

Of what use are "ravage" potions? E.g., Panacea of Ravage Health. If none, then why can we make them at all?

    Potions can only affect the person using them, so no use at all.

    They were probably originally intended to be poisons, so you could poison foes, but if so then they don't work yet.

    It has been mentioned that poisons are planned. Once they are implemented, emetic russula will become equal to columbine in value :)

    I believe ravager in skyrim was useless too. Just hurt you.

    I was wondering if the ravager needed to be used in conjunction with something else to offset its negatives and promote its positives. But for the life of me I can't think what it might be.

    Only when combined with a positive effect, which made it so you could drink the potion. If the mixture had only negative effects, then it was used as a poison to coat your weapons.
