I get so tired of seeing this thrown about. I don't know whether it's a reading comprehension issue or a common sense issue, but "Play the way you like" does not mean all venues of anything you ever wanted to do ever are possible in ESO. There's an implied "within the defined structure of the game". This should be common sense.
Concisely this is what Play the way you like says:
I don't know where all these weird tangents about "I can't do ___. So much for play the way you want" come from. People.. please stop and think about what you are saying(typing) before you go off on a half cocked rant and use this as some arbitrary reason why ZOS has wronged you.

You can do it
Just like my naked nord example. It might not be viable, but you are totally capable of making it happen. Just have to be loose on what tanking means, which in this game seems to be a loose term anyway.
Just to pop it out there, there are (with the morphs and not including the premorphs) 120 class skills , 60 weapon skills, 6 armor skills, 30 ultimates, 4 vamp, and a line of werewolf. Not including ultimate combinations there's about 300mil combinations,
We'll say 1/3 of it is viable. That's still 100mil. I may have miscalculated if someone wants to check. I did a combination of 100 skills (30class, 60weapon, 6armor, 4vampire) taken 5 at a time (one skill bar) times 4 classes.And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. Kayo1Soul ShrivenAgreed. "Play the way you like" kind of reminds me of the RL thing of "Do what you love." They should both have an asterisk note reading "Results may vary."
"Liking" to play as some 2H, clothy expecting to tank is like "loving" philosophy and expecting to get a job with a degree in it. You can certainly try ... but no one said you'd be successful.
