Aprroximate price - need advice

Hi Guys,

I got two purple dwemer racial motifs:

Racial Motifs 15, Chapter 11: Dwemer Shields
Racial Motifs 15, Chapter 12: Dwemer Shoulders

I would appreciate if you can tell me an approximate price for those. Couldn't find anyone in-game to give me an idea and I am afraid of scammers.

That's the beauty of a free economy, you can sell them for whatever price you want. I've seen them go for around 8k average, and as high as 15k. Personally, I sell mine for 3k to 4k just to get rid of them because I already have the entire set and 35 spare copies.

They are easier to get than other purple motifs, plus I farm this particular motif a lot.

How I determine a fair price is to look at the Guild Kiosks and see what people are selling them for. Note, just because they list them does not mean they sell for that price, but you can get an idea from how long they have been at the stores and other ones that are similar and what they are priced for. Note, Zone sales tend to go for a lower price than Guild Store sales go for.

Once you check about 10 Guild Kiosks or Stores, then you can get an idea of a range that they do sell for. Even better if you are a member of a guild that has a store then you can look through the history and see what they have sold for.

I sell them for 5k but haven't farmed any in a while.

Thanks for your replies. Yes, I have checked similar motifs in the trade guild I am, though it seems that guild is kinda dead in terms of trading. The motifs there were between 9k and 12k gold.

Pardon my ignorance but where can find those guild kiosks? Not very familiar how that works, read something about guild traders. I presume those should be scattered around different zones. Is there a symbol on the map or something to indicate it? I am level 21 high elf as of this moment and only have access to the first zones, currently questing in Grahtwood.

Yes, there is a symbol on the map. Most cities have at least one Kiosk, some have more. Then out in the rural areas near most Wayshrines is a Kiosk. So, if you look at a Wayshine on the map and you see some kind of house/tool/weird looking icon near it, that is the Guild Trader.

If your in Grahtwood, then at Elden Root between the Thalmor building and the place where the Wayshrine is are a group of Guild Traders on the road. I think there are 4 or 5 of them there. Look for carts or cages or similar with an NPC standing in front.

You can try to sell them for whatever price you want. The beauty of free economy is that nobody is forced to buy it for your ridiculously high price.

I keep farming them in order to get complete sets to sell. I sell each set of 14 for around 60k. It's quick and easy to do, and it's some extra money on the side. Plus, at only 60k, it usually goes within 10 seconds of me posting it in zone.

They made Dwemer motifs per piece? Yet they plan to introduce a second complete Daedric motif with Imperial city. Quite inconsistent.

Is there a complete Dwemer motif out there to be found as well??

I think it would have been better if all motifs were in pieces. Dedicated crafters would be more rare but it is too late to change it now. There is supposed to be legendary quality complete dwemer motif too but I don't think anyone has ever found one so it is extremely rare.
