TY for Patch Size

Thank you ZoS and @GinaBruno for putting the file size in today's patch download. It will save some of us time if we can do a quick check in the same place every update or patch!

While we are on the subject of patches, you guys need to update the game launcher. At the top of the launcher, when you click on Patch Notes, it takes you to a page that says the patch notes section has been moved, and gives a link to a redirect. How about you just update the link in the launcher to reflect the change in the web address of the patch notes so it goes straight to it?

Yes! GG for posting update size patch notes.

Only thing missing now to be perfect: Post Target/Partial patch notes in advance and then, if something is different, update the post after release.

That would require fixing something in the launcher, and we can't have that happen.

Speaking of, I have to also give thanks to having told us the size of todays patch.
Now what I want to know is why the launcher wants to download 6gb* of stuff if the patch is supposed to be 90mb in size.



*thankfully I know that quitting the launcher and restarting it (usually) fixes this, but still why should a player have to do this (or other things) to make up for the deficiencies of the launcher is beyond me

Funny... I watched the patch this time. I got a DL of around 90mb... then another of 112mb... then another of about 100mb.

They are new to giving us patch sizes. Let them have a couple of patches to get it together. It seems that they have a number of different things that can be downloaded, the "patch" probably being just one of them.

@ZOS_GinaBruno‌ can something be done to make patches a News item so that it appears in the News section of the launcher?

I was astonished to see that after the initial 90MB a patch of approx. 1.8GB got applied, not downloaded. Was ist "pre-streamed"? If so, I'd like to keep it this way, for sure.
