I'd love to see in ESOLive, or on this website the dev presenting theircharacter. Maybe not to reveal their build and all tricks (I think the dev will not want to do that to not encourage players to copy their build) but more for the curious factor. What the devs likes? Which sort of character they enjoy the most? What is their favourite area in the game? Etc...

well I am hoping that they would showcase different builds for each class i.e. a stam based, magikca based and hybrids so not really to give players a play this way but more of a example of direction of whats possible...of course only viable if they show it in vet level content as any build can pull off getting to that point.I just think if they can utilize stam based builds and such would be nice to see that they do have a clue and not just throwing stuff together for giggles..often I also hear complaints about summoning tree for sorcs, show them what the skill can really do.

This would be flawed and probably end up dispaying class archetypes that do not work at all for veteran content, for example a sorcerer focusing on daedric summoning.
If update 6 manages to balance class abilities, I'd be happy to hear devs talk about how they envisioned the different classes though.

I think there are enough lets players on YT that give you "leet" skills and builds.

I would much rather like ESO live focusing only on news, future updates, Dev chats.

Yeah, sure. I often wonder if the devs can play the stuff they create as well as the players, would like to see it. Especially if they are going to not make changes to certain skills, they could show us the best, intended way to use them equal to the other min/max builds out there.

Real estate on our power bar is expensive, so showing us skills like blur is worth slotting on a bar over the thirty other choices could be useful. Or tell us why sorc ulti's are just as good as veil or banner, etc. Or show us what NB skills are equal to the buffs/shields of the other class skills that give armor/spell resist and shield. etc. If they aren't going to make changes a lot think are needed, then it would be their chance to explain why and show us how those skill are as powerful as the other skills used in a min/max build.

But, might as well wait until champion system is polished since it will change a lot of that stuff.

I think they have time, could replace the fan art more than easily and then add the fan art to the website so ppl can go admire. It would be more useful then the mostly useless builds they put in the battle master corner. lets just be real if your build hasn't been thru current endgame don't say its viable, most of those are not even vt1 and have no real grasp on what's gonna happen to their builds in vet solo content.

Nah. Most of the devs are probably bad casual noods that don't know how to effectively weave attacks and walk in the big red circle. Why would anyone want to see them play?

That's perhaps what we're going to see, but I don't want to see pro's clearing SO in <33mins, I want to see how the creators play their own game and what they imagine it to be. And seeing some devs failing should be fun too. ;P

Not all is about endgame. Alot of people like the questing, leveling, pvp.
Not all builds are good at trails now and dev. making a build do not change that. So its a little cheesy way to prove a point all already know.

But yes i do like to see what they play with, just as as they show in the battle master corner.

True enough not all of the game is endgame. True not all builds are good for trials. For all of those who like the leveling, questing and such awesome but there are some who play the whole game as well to include endgame and want to see where the ideas or usefulness of skills that devs put in game are shown useful. This is not an attack on you rather a question for those who do more or want to contribute more. I enjoy all aspects of the game as well. I enjoy my well earned 11k plus achev points from doing all of those things and I also enjoy trails and knowing I am carrying my weight in endgame. You see these builds do exists and I would simply like to see more of them and less of the special needs battle master builds that have yet to even try vt1 let alone endgame.
