What ever happened to courtyard flags?

I don't know if anyone else remembered, but before ESO came out I would watch the trailers, a lot. Today I remembered something, courtyard flags. They seem like they would be fairly cool, and could be added to the large keeps. (the keeps that control the Gates, for AD it would be Blackboot and Bloodmaybe. for EP its Kingscrest and Farragut, DC its Warden and rayles)

Not really complaining about the extra capture zones not being there, just wondering why they were pulled.

I just thought it would be cool to fight in a indoors area that could have multiple levels and objects, so groups could use the area to their advantage or it could be a disadvantage.
As a more close ranged fighter, I like to battle people with objects around the area I could use to break the line of sight, or to pull back into if I need it, or sometimes a lure.~Thallen~0 -

Believe it or not, back when ESO first came out and FC's were bugged, there was no lag in PvP.~Thallen~1 -

back then there was no horrendus lag.

If they can fix the lag (ie, restore that which was experienced at launch - none) then I would support an extra capture zone for the Gate Keeps.
I've also wondered what those towers are for at resources; you'd think maybe there was once a second flag up there; it would make resource capture a bit more interesting if there was a second flag.
