This thread is compiling a list of people who are unhappy with the current low population bonus. There are however other threads that deal with requesting a change.Lava_Croft wrote: »
This thread is requesting that ZOS change the Low Population bonus by saying the listed players are upset by it. Literally a petition.

I'm not one of the great players. I'll never be Emperor - haven't even made the top 20. But combat is fun and in the loose melee battles around keeps I can be quite effective. What kept me coming back was the three way alliance war. This mechanism and what might be its abuse has completely wrecked that aspect of the game. My interest has vanished.

It's a shame because the 1-50 experience was great and the combat mechanisms like roll dodge the best I've played. But an autowin mechanism for one faction makes the game pointless. One set of rules for them and another harsher set of rules for us.
While the broken scoring is demotivating, it changes absolutely nothing about the fun player versus player combat in Cyrodiil. Something like the incredible lag has much more impact on my Cyrodiil experience than any scoreboard can ever hope for.
The following is a list of members of the PVP community who have had their PVP experience destroyed because of the low population bonus described here.
This represents a small number of The Wabbajack guild who are frustrated and tired of waiting with no answers. I encourage other guilds to bring forwards lists of players who suffered the same feelings to show this isn't a select few players.

Please not ZOS this is not a petition but in hope to show you this is actually a serious issue to many of us.
Could you please point to me where I requested they change it? We're merely showing them a number of people who have not enjoyed the mechanic, we wouldn't dare make a petition because that's against forum rules.Lava_Croft wrote: »

I just would like to point out that your comment is rather rude; it shows a total lack of empathy and respect for the wants and needs of others.

The scoreboard is one of those mechanics "borrowed" from that game called Guild Wars 2 that should of been left to rot like AoE caps.
The scoreboard will only show one thing and one thing only, who has the greater population for any extended time. They try and lessen it in this game by giving the under population bonus, so the matches aren't complete blowouts like they were, but its still the same in the end..the side with the most people for the longest period of time will win. If night capping is present that faction will probably win 90% of the time.
It worked that way in GW2 just the same...but ya know what game didn't have that bloody score board, and didn't end up with people whining about the underdog winning via underdog bonus....DAOC.... ya know the game they should of been copying instead of its awful cousin GW2.

On Thornblade EU it was the two lower population factions fighting it out for the lead. AD run this fiction that they were the low pop faction being bullied by two bigger factions. Not true. EP was always the biggest, AD and DC on the same populations bars but AD usually went up a bar first and down last, indicating that they usually had a slightly higher population that DC. AD got their bonus though.
