Heavy Armor

In my opinion armors should follow the rule of Rock vs Scissor vs Paper.

    For example:

    Light Armor: (3)High Speed, (3)High Magica regen, (1)Low Protection. = 7
( Tanking focused on movement / magical powers )

Medium Armor: (2)Medium Speed, (3)High Stamina regen, (2)Medium Protection. =7 ( Tanking focused on movement / evades )

Heavy Armor: (1)Low Speed, (3)High Health regen, (3)High Protection. = 7 ( Tanking focused on movement / protection value )

This way everything is somehow balanced and allow for mishmash armor types.

But with Enchants, skills, traits and other things You still should be able to tank, dps, heal in any of armor types. With just common sense, Light Armor is not desired to tank - but with correct abilities and players skills "Impossible is nothing!"

I thought 1.6 was going to correct the Armor issue with heavy? I hope it goes the way I see it. As in Tanks will mostly lean toward heavy armor and shield. PPL will want to tank in cloth/medium but the only way to do it is very low very low dps. Due to Heavy will revolve around magic resist and physical armor. Cloth will only revolve around magic resist for defs and medium physical. So, you could tank in cloth/medium with much of your tool bar cover with defs/dmg mitigation.

I see this helping a lot in PvP then you won't have all these cloth/medium armor ppl feeling like tanks and pushing out crazy amount of damage. What you will get is medium/light will push out crazy dmg but will be squishier to other attacks. So, a person like a tank will do low damage but the other armor classes that are attacking him will do low damage to him due to all the defs and make it even in a sense.

Heavy armour is decent right now.

The new on-hit resource return is basically free regeneration (not quite, as you'd have to get hit exactly every 2 seconds, but close). The CC Break cost reduction is also really nice.

Can't wait to see what Update 6 brings for armour balancing. I hope they keep light armour tanking viable. Just with a lot more effort than it requires currently.
