Here are the stat changes coming in 1.6 along with a buff to medium and heavy armor

Based on the ESO live episode yesterday, I was able to get a glimpse into what kind of changes will be made to each of the stats and attribute points.

vMTCWsY.png

The enchantment on the armor shown at 1:15:27 reads "Adds 158 Max Health." The armor piece is infused and adds 11% enchantment effect. The enchantment is also on the boots and doesn't yield the full enchantment value.

So I gather that 158 / 1.11 / 0.44 = 324 rounded. This appears to be a green Lesser Glyph of Health which gives +64 Max Health currently.

Dividing the new value 324 by the old value of 64 we get 5.0625 which is equal to 1.5^4.

So using this multiplier on the various VR14 softcaps, it appears that the "softcap" for magicka and stamina with be roughly 12428 or may be rounded down to 12400 (note, softcaps will be removed in 1.6 but seem to remain as a sort of baseline).

Using the same multiplier it would seem the health softcap is roughly 16008 or may be rounded to 16000. Which coincides very well with the damage being dealt by the guard later in the video. (A VR1 gets killed in 5 hits of 2990 damage, so VR1 ~ 15000hp and VR14 ~16000hp).

As far as attribute points go, we are looking at 75 for health and 50 for both magicka and stamina per point spent. I rounded these values from ~76 and ~51 because 75/50 makes much more sense.

Another important bit of information is the armor values shown. The purple full-leather boots show their armor at 983 while the cotton shoes of health show 262.

Looking up these same armor values as they currently exist will give the numbers 142 and 76 respectively.

Dividing (new_purple / new_green) / (old_purple / old_green) we get a ratio of 2. Long story short, going from light armor to medium armor gives a lot more armor benefit in 1.6 than it currently does. It would appear this change was made to make light armor players squishier than medium and heavy players. It is also a much needed buff to medium and heavy armor builds that will surely allow them to differentiate themselves from light armor.

Furthermore, there are a few extra buttons of the menu, one of which is probably the champion menu, the other (middle button next to "INVENTORY" made of shapes) I have no idea.

All of the other stats can be calculated using the same method as above. I don't feel like typing them all out.

I can't wait for more info.

Maybe the collector/trophy screen is the undefined shapes icon. In the inventory panel the same symbol is displayed, possibly suggesting a separate inventory for such items

Wonder what Spell Resistance is going to be like post-update.

Cloth wearers may be more susceptible to physical damage after implementation, but that may also suggest that Medium wearers will be more susceptible to magical damage.

I don't think the values shown are accurate. These values are on a Dev test server. I would not assume they are what is going to go live. Much like when I would test mods for Skyrim...I would make myself overpowered so that I didn't have to worry about dying. Never know though, they could be accurate.

These values are subject to change, that is true. I think that the actual values will be darn close or simply off by a factor of 2 to give their ~10x increase as opposed to this ~5x.

Hi all, just popping in to let you know that we do have plans to adjust Reflective Scales in Update 6. Currently, you can reflect an infinite number of projectiles per cast; we will be setting a maximum number of projectiles that the ability can reflect per cast, the maximum being four. We look forward to hearing your feedback on this once it's available to test on the PTS.
this post reflects the scale of upcoming changes, this is huge, long awaited nerf

indeed it is a fix, reflective scales should've never been source of infinite dps.
i can guarantee mass scale pvp will change now to better

Defensive Posture already reflects only 1 (spell) projectile per cast, so we're off to a good start.

They said on the livestream that values aren't accurate. Somebody pointed out the attributes at one point and Gina and whatever the dudes name mentioned they were test stats for the Dev server and wouldn't be live.

As for the shapes, it is quite likely the new ui for trophies/mounts/collectibles. Since that is supposed to be released in 1.6-1.7.

They should have just converted it to a capless PBAE reflect skill. Balls of single target spamming zergs is not the problem in the game right now...

Months ago at the guild summit, ZOS said that along with the champion system stats would essentially quadruple. Also, there will no longer be soft caps.

I just hope they will also improve items we alrdy have so we dont have to grind new gear(same crap but with new stronger enchants) with 116 magicka enchants on armors vs 1M health trash mobs lol.
And also dont spend infinite time to grind again same Undaunted or any other sets we alrdy had coz it rly takes half of life to get some lol.

P.S. This is exactly what happened when with patch 1.5 (or 1.4 i dont rly remember) when they imporved potency of Enchants. All enchants which was alrdy put on armor remain the same crapy value.

Also i recall they said they fixed an issue that looted VR14 items have much stronger enchants (specialy if item have infused trait) compared to same crafted enchant but this was a lie. Any vr 14 item still have better enchant then Kuta + Kura/Kude enchant.

At the Guild summit they advised that the max for heavy armor of the PIE in the Champion System would be like 24% (at a Maximum of 50% damage mitigation), they also advised that Medium armor would be at 20% and light armor will be at 16%,

So Light armor wearers will no longer be able to soft cap armor, only full heavy armor wearers with a shield will be able to do that.

So yes, Light armor wearers will now be more squishy if they want to go all Light to take advantage of the Magicka recovery/costs, etc.

Interesting is the additional status bar under the veteran rank one.

...and that ZOS seems to always use Args as the race for their show/tell.

At what point do they say the values are not right? Or was it in chat?

I realize these values may be different from what they said in the past or will do in the future. All I did here was calculate the current softcaps equivalent value based on the stats shown. I know there will be no softcaps.

The additional bar under the lvl is for champion points.
