Vampire and Justice system

So apparently NPC will react to vampire stage 4, but given how short duration the vampire stages last this will be quite a nuisance having to feed so often. As a Vampire myself I am concerned of my own safety.

Should we see a "buff" to the stages duration? Stage 1 for instance only lasts for 30 minutes.

just get some friends who are Vampires to join you, suck the whole town dry.
  • dvogiatziseb17_ESO
Yes this needs a second look.

Because right now it's not worth to be a vampire. I gave up on being a vampire due to the tons of fire damage this game has and I'm getting much better in dungeons.

There is no need for another reason not to be a vampire, I think there are enough already.

Hmm, I'm still seeing way too many of those abominations. I was hoping for some info about what we as players can do about that. Guess we'll have to leave that to the guards for now! :)
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

Yes please, vampires are unlucky already with this will make it worse. I can just tolorate the damage for the recovery and the mist form get away (Templars don't have a decent get away ability)
So yeah vampirism needs to be more desirable if you're going to alienate them from the towns and put a hit out on them!

The only thing good about being vampire right now is the 10% magicka recovery you can get (which isn't really that tempting) and being able to sneak fast...which isn't super necessary, but comfortable. Also, for some, red eyes.

Pvp wise, mist+manoeuver is the best combo ever, better than BE to escape, better than anything to contrôle the batlefield, if used correctly, you never die. And with the stealth bonus it's even better.

Its like... being a vampire will effect your relationships with humans, and its like... being a vampire requires you to drink blood. Sounds legit.

The QQ... what do you guys want? To stroll around town in broad daylight, pale from hunger, eyes red with blood, and casualy browse the local wares without any humans even noticing.

Being a vampire makes you a monster. If you want to just be a pretend twilight, dye your clothes goth and act mopy.

Remember that the Justice system can be toggled on or off. If you are concerned about your vampirism/werewolf affecting your regular playing, don't participate in the Justice system. Or, do the quest to cure your vampirism/lycanthropism.

If you are complaining so you can be a vampire/werewolf criminal, remember you chose to become an abomination.

The pve part of the justice sistem cannot be toggled as all the TES games you have an ingame justice the toggable part is the pvp guards and thieves minigame. (not included in update 6 btw)
Wherewolves usually got a easy life in TES games the Npc just make jokes on fur that comes out of your ears and for vamps if you are in phase 3 usally tells you to go see a healer.
Mantain a phase 3 vamp is not a great loss instead of 4 imo

I don't really think it's as bad as some people think. After feeding, you have 3 hours before you have to worry about feeding again. That's plenty of time to ensure you're not constantly watching the clock tick.

If anything... the justice system will finally give vamp players a reason to actually feed. As it is now, just wearing an item or 2 with Fire Resistance equipped nullifies any danger of the Stage 4 fire damage consequences.

The NPCs reacting negatively to vamps better be selective, only certain ones. If I have to avoid most towns because every single npc hates me, that would be bullcrap- selling, trading, dyes, crafting, etc shouldn't be hampered by this.

Just feed before going into town.

If you feed back to stage 1 you actually get a pretty good chunk of time before you hit stage 4 again. Plenty of time to do whatever you need in town...

The only issue I can see is certain areas that have nothing to feed off of anywhere near towns. They might need to consider throwing a few human NPCs or Mobs just outside town to at least give the option to feed.

Maybe there will be like at least one town in each faction where none of the npc's react to Vamp's. That will be the new Haven for us and it will always be full of Vamp players.
Or maybe it will just be Windhelm (EP) cause everyone in the town is too drunk to notice.

I would like to se some sort of seduce skill to let you feed without getting a bounty on your head. Ofcourse, that skill should be hard to obtain, preferably from a quest that you only get after vampire level 10. It makes sense that an older vampire has learnt to seduce his victims while the newbies get to act savages out in the wild.

Also, it would be great to lengthen the time between feed. Perhaps you can choose a passive after lvling up your vampire to 5 that keeps you at stage 1 longer, and after lvl 10 you can morph that passive into even loner. It does make sense that an older vampire has learnt to control his hunger.

at stage 4 vampire however, there should be no mercy in towns! The seduce skill should not work at stage 4. Perhaps not even stage 3, some people may think you look strange with that hunger in your eyes...

A link to what you said there? That NPC's will react negatively to your vampirism and no way to opt out of that?

I watched the livestream video of the interview with the lead dev of the Justice system where he stated that the Justice System would be an optional choice (set to "on" by default as they want you to participate).

He used an example of people that like to run around town spamming their AoE's. If you like to do this, turn it off so you don't hit an NPC and anger the guards. It seems to me that by what he said, if you turn it off, then you won't be participating with it at all.

Here is a link to the video at the point where they discuss the system:

Yeah, feeding to stage 1 nets you 3 hours of safe play time within a town.

Wayshrines pretty much makes the distance to towns a non issue.

Just use a wayshrine to a known human population. Feed 3 times. Then wayshrine back. That would take all of a minute to do. I don't know why some people think it's going to be such a big deal.

I hope they do not change it. Currently, aside from a little more fire damage, Vamps have no down side. If I choose not to feed and hit stage 4 I want townfolk to fear me and attack me.
