^This. If we're going to pay for an expansion, it should be for something big that we've never really seen before. Give us the rest of Tamriel in chunks for free over time, but expansions should be new and different.

Agreed. If there are expansions I either want other parts of Nirn or maybe even daedric areas. I'm not a lore hound so I don't know all the places but it would be cool to have a new content with only some areas filled in then get te rest in updates. But that might anger people to get a continent but not have all of it.

Since Paul Sage shook his head when asked if we are getting more than 8 character slots, I want an expansion to include more character slots.

I want to see an expansion that creates lore. Everyone always says "Don't do this or that because it's lore breaking!" But what creates the lore is the game, so if they added something new, it's just a new part to the lore

I remember the devs saying a while back (In 2013 long before ESO launched) they would do an expansion at some point.

I'm predicting we'll be sailing to the Maormer homeland Pyandonea in 2016, with an announcement at Quakecon 2015.

Why Pyandonea? Well, simply because we've seen enough dragons in Skyrim and the Maormer are a very central force in the AD storyline, as well as Pyandonea being very unknown. Ship Combat and Underwater Combat could be prominent features.

Id like to see other realms of Oblivion, though I feel like new places (in both nirn and oblivion) would be better represented initially in a TES as opposed to ESO.

Probably nothing before all 1.xx updates.
Then 2.x will be an advance in era so lore can match new zones and bosses

When they do an expansion, if it is a true expansion it should at least double the size of the world, with tons of things to do if it follows the path of expansions like other games have had in the past. I would think Housing, would be one of the features, more dungeons, new stories, all depends on how far they go and where they take it.

I very much hope housing happens in THIS version of the game! But I could definitely see guild cities being part of an expansion.

I like the idea of moving forward in time (though nothing jarring), the current world of Tamriel wouldn't befrozen in time - it would feel like a little bit of progress. We could witness the rebuilding/fall of cities all over Tamriel.

I'd also like an expansion to make the zones feel more fluid in transition instead of losing screens.

i think i saw that dead horse somewhere in stone falls sitting next to a quest thats been fixed for ages but still being complained that its broken lol

shivering isles as an entire continent with bliss and crucible and a storeyline of some sort alone with both amber and madness motifs and group dungeon quest rewards can be duskfang dawnfang, shadowrend , and that ambermadness hybrid hammer(forgot name)

In future content, I would love to see other continents in the world as well. Also, one thing I always felt kinda let down in past ES games (including this one) is most trips to Oblivion look the same. Igneous rock and volcanic environment. I'd greatly like to see more variety in Oblivion landscapes in future content.

Expansion One will be the Dark Brotherhood/Thieves Guild at the Imperial City.
Expansion Two will be Housing.
Each will cost about $30 and will be a digital download of around 50Gb.

I want to see the game get fixed before they even think about expansions, still crashing 2-3 times a day 6 months after launch, this is rediculous for a premium subbed game, where is all that money going to?

Into the Fat cats upstairs pockets. To pay for all the 'trips to expos' they plan next year for console push.
