EU/US megaserver at same time?

Hello everyone,
I am very well aware this question might´ve been asked hundreds time already, though, even with google help I failed to find an answer(or I was blind?), or rather solution satisfactory enough to help me with this
.
I am currently playing on European megaserver, I am happy with PvE and PvP there, but Roleplaying - I find it very limited(or at least the one in english language
). The situation on US megaserver seem to be better so I am willing to give a shot.
I wonder if I can play on both megaservers, having possibility to switch from one to another anytime without having to go through redownloading game or some complicated process. I already did some research, found some guides, though none of them worked for me - either the client was doing something different then guide told it should do, or caused client to provide me with many different Error messages (mostly 209 & 206), problem was mainly that those guides were mostly few months old already.
If any of you guys have some know-how I will be really happy if you share

✭✭✭Oh then no your good. But every time a patch goes out you'll have to download one for NA and one for EU. I am not sure if it will download in the background. It should but may also raise your ping time. Double click NA server then when you log in alt tab out and make sure NA is still going.1

✭✭✭The search function would have helped more up there. But no you can't have the same character on both. You'll have to make a new character to get on NA server and redownload the whole game again.Edited by ers101284b14_ESO on December 5, 2014 12:58AM0 -

I am very well aware of the fact that character/bank etc. is not share between the servers and that I will have to start anew.
Maybe I formed my question bad way - I want to be able to play on both EU and US megaserver(with different characters ofc). I already changed launcher setting to US and downloading the game, but I am afraid that if I switch back to EU...it will start downloading again.0 -
