Fantastic campaign, lots of good fights all around. Dee Tick be praised.
I'm fairly certain we win the Turtling' at Arrius award, too.
It is the vision of Ohh Tick, as preached by the glorious Pact Ram, that has seen us through.
Begone with your heathen lies, o blasphemer and false prophet.

Sometime overnight, the score required by AD (2nd Place currently) to overcome EP's lead reached 468 -- meaning that AD has to exceed EP's score per hour by that much every hour to win. That is beyond running the entire map yellow, as the max tick you can get (without low score/pop bonuses) is +399 per hour.
This means that AD has been mathematically eliminated from contention and can no longer achieve 1st Place. DC's required number is even higher.
Congratulations, EP!
Thank you AD and DC for all the good fights and good fun.
See you guys on the next cycle.

DC has no leadership anymore. The guilds that used to really defend and keep the faction going are gone.Or, the ones left can't even field a full raid. Agrippa and the rest of EP can gloat all ya want. It's easy to beat on the kid with no hope of offense. It's easy to win when DC and AD aren't continually knocking on your door, but each others for no reason other than not being able to do more to you because of lag and sheer numbers.
It also helps when one of the DC zerg leaders left for EP because he's a child who will go un-named. Forget re-rolling to DC. We should ALL just re-roll to EP and have the entire campaign finally F'ing die along with PvP for lack of competition and the complete lack of support from ZoS.
In before...Umad bro? Cause yeah. I am. Might be just time to retire as well because there's no light of hope DC can do anything to win from now on. Don't bother re-rolling and coming here. Just let the PvP and the game die to show ZoS it's toally inept at running an MMO.

Same happened in EU. Nobody get low-pop bonuses these days.
My guess is: they released these bonus logic, it was bugged as hell, it was silently and stealthily removed.
To add to that... the difference in AD and DC's score is about what AD made up in that faulty Low Population bonus they were receiving. If I were DC I'd be livid. With an /actual lower population/ they have the points where they would have 2nd place if not for ZOS's mishandling of the Low Population Score bonus just giving away 2nd place to AD.

If DC had the same population as EP, then DC would have won the campaign three or four days ago. Player for player, DC is the best faction on the NA servers. I would gladly welcome their daycappers back to the game if it would bring some balance back to the game. At the very least, the low pop bonus algorithms need to be adjusted as DC is being robbed by the current system.
Re roll ? Let the game die ? ... I get the lag frustration .
I guess it's hard for some people to be outnumbered . I look at it this way , my kill quests are a breeze . I'm not even grouped 50% of the time . No waiting for pvp to happen on the DC side .
nice.
i wish i would have been there to help, but i refuse to put up with the lag, crashing, and exploitiing that is rampant throughout the campaign.
will be interesting to see the responses of all those arrogant AD scumbags that prwached all high and mighy of themselves last cycle.

I'm not so much mad at you Agrippa. I've had many great battles against you when EHJ and Bitaken were still here. Bit left because of the fustration over the lag, crashes, night-capping. The game was...(I'm sorry, I mean IS) just getting worse.
I'm trying to say you and EP would have a better fight on your hands if the lag was gone and the skilled smaller groups could take on the EP zerg. Sadly we can't do shite about it as the game stands with it's technical issues, and we can't always fight in an open field.
Tons of great and leading players have left DC or the game altogether. IMO, yeah you won this round. But i'd like to think it's kind of an empty victory because of DC and AD ppl moving to EP. Simply because ZoS sees fit not to fix their game properly. If you can't beat'em, join'em, Is going to end up with just a full red map and nothing left to fight for.

Hopefully none. We don't want him, nor his guildies. We want them to remain DC.

Not many went with him and you can keep them haha .. We are already doing exponentially better. Thanks for taking one for the team Agrippa

The problem is no matter where you are its a handful of DC vs double the amount or more. After a while it gets old and people log out and it gets worse for those who tough it out.
Should be no reason that if two factions are pop locked the third is 2 bars behind. Those odds will always result in a loss.
Just for the record, I'm not saying DC "should do what I'm about to propose, I'm just saying its a valid tactic in war"
DC should consider a full blown retreat. I say this as a DC since day one. Retreating is a valid war strategy.
We should pack up shop, and do a complete and total retreat from Thornblade. Let AD and EP kill each other off, in the meantime, DC needs to focus recruiting from the pve zones. All the DC guilds, etc, lets put aside our petty differences, squabbles, etc lets unite towards a common goal, offer a positive productive experience for the pve folks, lets get a marketing campaign going and see if we can remedy our number problem.
It doesn't matter how good or bad someone is, you can never have enough pawns on the board, and sometimes those pawns become kings.
A retreat give us time to reflect, time to Marshall our strength, come up with better strategies, and come back stronger then ever.
The Imperial Legion under General Decanius was outnumbered by the Dominion during the Great War of the 4th era, he made decision to retreat across the Alik'ir Desert in what became known as The March of Thirst".
After getting reinforcements from High Rock, and a Forebear Army breaking the Dominion's Siege of Sentinel lead to the Redguard Crown and Forebear factions reconciling.
With this newfound force, General Decanius met the Dominion Forces outside of Skaven in a bloody and indecisive clash, Decanius was forced to withdraw, but The Dominion could no longer continue their advance, this was the turning point in Hammerfell that eventually lead to the Redguards fighting off the Dominion on their own after they refused to sign The Whitegold Concordat.
This retreat eventually lead to The Treaty if Stros'makai and the withdrawal of the defeated Dominion from Hammerfell.
Lets make this our march of thirst. Lets take our time, Marshall our strength, regroup and come back more powerful then ever

When the justice system comes out, we can just hold the Dragonstar Arena hostage until more PvE'rs come to Cyrodiil.
I don't know anything about the other stuff you said, but yes to that too because I like your style.
We didnt really let them run away with it, they just seemed to be far superior during prime time during this cycle. Also, you can ask most DC players how they feel about AD. They strait up hate us. So while EP had their best groups running during prime time, and DC attempted to destroy us, the hours from 3-10pm consisted of AD trying to hold fare usually. I wont go into any "purple Alliance because i dont think they really coordinated, and if they did im sure it wasnt often. Honestly it was a good cycle, and im excited for the next cycle. good luck EP and DC.Agrippa_Invisus wrote: »mike.gaziotisb16_ESO wrote: »Interesting. How did they let you run away with it?
In EU whenever a faction gets 2-3k points lead, it gets pummeled back to its gates by the combined efforts of the other two factions. Not combined as in communicating, but combined as in knowing to attack the faction in the lead to even the scores.
As a result, all factions are within 1k points of each other as we enter the final 2 days. Pretty existing stuff.
That said, congrats to EP in NA for their win
I'm sure a lot of folks will come out of the woodwork to say horrible things here, but my response will be --
Being tenacious on defense. The attempts to pound us back to our gates happened, many times, but we'd cling to Arrius like a man adrift with a life preserver. As long as we held that, we'd wait for those blue/yellow crossed swords to show up at a keep and then rush back out and regain our lost territory.
