Whatever happened to the Dark brotherhood and thieves guild?

If i remember correctly, Zenimax said that these guilds would be available after launch but i havent heard anything since that. Has anyone heard anything that i missed?

We probably wont see both the DB and the TG till after the justice system is launched (update 6 or 7?), but that doesn't mean there not going to be in the game. Since some people have found codes for an item in game for the dark brotherhood invite and during quake con they showed us armor for the DB so my guess is good as anyone's else's, For the TG its the same boat.



So my best guess for both of these to be in game would be in Mid January to early February. (Update 8-9?)

I have already created a character in prep for this (Mithllon). Can't wait to see what they come out with... hopefully they both have a storyline and there own skills.

They mentioned they need justice system in place and running smoothly to build those upon it (meaning it wont be available immediately next update after Justice, but much later)

Another necessary system was the instance scaling we already have now. So even max level characters can enjoy the whole quest line that comes with it

I have a Shadowscale. He is new, my first in nearly 8 months and while he is not directly aimed at Dark Brotherhood, well Morag Tong really, but he may join when it shows up.

I love that medium Nightingale type Armor for the Theives Guild. I hope it's just a learnable motif, so I can craft set bonuses of my choosing.

I always used a mod to create unenchanted versions of these armors in Skyrim because the stock enchantments were pretty underwhelming.

The item codes exist for those Invites, I believe that will be an upcoming 2015 feature.

What are you talking about? I am in the Dark brotherhood. You must be chosen. You can't simply do a silly quest and BOOM you're a member. Jeeze, people these days just want everything spoon fed to them!

ZOS just need to fix the lighting on Upper Craglorn first, then they will get right onto Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guilds.
