I don't know if this has been asked before and I'm too lazy to search to see if it has. If I was to respec my skill points would all the items I'm currently researching discontinue/stop. Thanks for any helpful responses.

They will stop but timer will continue where you left off when you assing your points back. You don't lose any ongoing research progress when you respec. Just be sure to assing those points back

I don't remember, but I think that if you remove the skill points, research will stop on any items above the one slot you get for each craft. I think once that ends, the next item that's stopped will start researching, but I have not tested that ye.

If you have three items researching and release the skill points so your only allowed one research, the items then 'stack'. So only one item has its timer going down and when it finishes, the next one auto starts and so on until all three are finished. Then you will be allowed to research again.

But as the skill points also make the research faster, the 'reduced' time is added back, so it will take longer. Eg If an item takes 10 days, but your skill points have dropped the time to research to 8 days, and you have had it researching for 5 days (3 days to go) when you released the skill points, the 2 days will be added back, so it will show as 5 days to go.

If you then add the skills points BACK, the bonus time is then reapplied. So resetting skill points and then adding them back to research means you lose nothing.
