Overall, is the game easier now?

I logged on to play this week - I've been busy with some research work and real work - for the first time in several weeks. Is it just me or is the game now ... easier? I swept through several mobs without a problem. Now I'm thinking of heading over to Crow's Wood to see how hard that is, as it's always been a bit of a challenge for me.

I tried several of my characters: a NB, a DK, and Templar, all under level 20 (yes, yes I'm leveling slow ... very, very slow.) It seems like the mobs die faster now, as if the difficulty has been adjusted down.

Feels like it. Had a group today that blew through a VR3 dungeon without a healer. 3/4 of us were over leveled but it still should have been hard without a healer.

Under level 50 mobs shouldn't be any different; it's always been pretty easy. It's everything relating to Vet ranked content that's been changed so much.

At least stamina skills got buffs so if using those then it might seem easier now when they actually do some damage.

Might be a little easier if you use a lot of regular stamina based attacks since they were buffed. Overall, I never found the 1-50 game tough besides just a occaisional boss mob, and maybe an area or two where the mobs seemed a bit tough then other mobs of similar level.

It feels much easier..

Now I'm pretty much soloing every Public Dungeon (group)
I couldn't solo only 1 world boss (that storm atronach)
I'm also soloing every dolmen without dying, no matter what they throw at me

Difficulty seems to be very low now..Group events no longer feel like it..

with as long as it takes to level to VR14 in this game, easing the difficulty I am ok with. You're leveling experience should either take a lot of time or a lot of skill but not both. This was the major problem for VR content...Stuff got more difficult and took just as long to level. People were impatient.

Players are getting better and better, so the game may seem easier even though it's difficulty has slightly increased.

I haven't tried to solo any group dungeons, but I'm soloing the public dungeons, too. I've never had a real problem with solo mobs, but now I'm taking out three mobs without a problem. Part of it is probably experience and a better understanding of game mechanics; but part of it feels like the game is just easier now.

Yes, I balance my bar with both magicka and stamina skills, particularly for my DW NB.

As builds are balanced the 1-50 should get easier for builds that had been weaker in the past. Beyond that, post VR has definitely been made easier since release.

It was always easy under 50 and I don't feel stamina changes significantly affected early parts of the game. You're probably just getting better at it.

Don't try to solo group dungeons (4-man instances), it won't work. Even before scaling you had to outlevel them to be able to solo, now it's even harder (if at all possible).
