Planned Maintenance Notes should contain size of the patch expected to download

Please provide us with additional information contained with planned maintenance notification about patch size.

Many players have limited internet and this would help us to prepare for incoming maintenance and information provided would be great help from your side.

Flow of information is essential, cost nothing and is great link between you and us.

How about sending out an e-mail to all subscribers when you have installed a patch > 500MB?

Then, for those of us who want to log a quick mission before beddy-bye, we're not blindsided by a 1 hr patch download. We could have been downloading the patch in the background while we're doing something else productive.

Is @Baragorath just going to sit out of the game until he has enough bandwidth available to catch up with downloading the game? One cannot play the game without the updates.

Seriously, I do not see how adding the information on download size for each patch would help. If someone has limited monthly internet usage and does not have enough to obtain updates for the game the issue is either increase the size of the internet plan or find a game that has less update demands.

Zos adding the information to the update will not resolve the situation. Additionally, the size can change at the last minute so it is not practical for Zos to include the information requested.

I don't have any limit to download size, but I do operate under a bandwidth limit when at remote locations that everyone on the same connection draws from.

I will share my secret with you. Sometimes I unplug the feed router and plug straight into the distribution router to reduce lag in Cyrodiil, then play dumb when the thirty or so people ping me about no internet connection...

Just an FYI, you might want to check the DATE on the thread before commenting. Reviving old threads is against the Forum rules and will just cause the thread to be locked. ZOS would prefer new threads to be created rather than reviving old ones, even if they are about the same topic.
