How long does that patch take to download.. I'm going on 4 hours and It says 73% 2500 mb's left ... If there is another 6 gigs after this 2500 I promise I'm canceling my subscription ... No reason whatsoever for it to take this long? What's a good kbs'? I'm getting around 300 ... ...

    4 hours and not through? Yowza... Took me all of maybe an hour for the whole download/install.

    Yeah, if your speed is reported in KBs instead of MBs, you're gonna have a long wait. I'd recommend pausing, restarting, and go to the pub with your mates.

    After you hit the 89/90 percent mark, there's another 6gig. Given your download speed, I'd probably write off the day for playing. Dunno that I'd cancel over it though. There's another thread that gives a work around, but its geared more towards people earlier in the patch process. Don't quote me in that though, as I may have misread. In a nutshell there was a gaff in the patch process that resulted in unneeded patching. But from what I saw... The second patch is what you need.

    For most people today's update was about 12GB. You can use the site below to try and figure out what the total time to download will be based on your internet connection speed. However quite a few people seem to be reporting that they are getting far lower download speeds than normal from the ESO launcher. Sometimes closing and re opening the launcher can help, or just waiting a few mins after it starts downloading and give it a chance to speed up. I have a 45Mbps connection, but I don't know what my speeds were downloading the patch because I left the launcher running before going to class this morning.

    I don't for a moment doubt that you're frustrated. ZOS really does need to get it together. I'm not one to preach "Give em a chance" since their project management has proven time and again that they're amateurs compared to the rest of the MMO industry. But at the same time, I could think if better reasons to bail other than one entire day of lost game time. Though to be honest, they're very close to the tipping point with other issues.

    I just paid my 4th 3 month sub so I'm not going to quit over this, this is by far the best game I've ever played imho. I absolutely hate my job most days so I look forward to logging in and getting "away" after, especially Mondays. I check the forum 20 times a day at work and if your stupid banner at the top warned me I was going to have to wait I would have planned something else for this evening. 4800mb to go.

    I agree ..I canceled plans to relax and play .. I'm sure they will not miss my recurring 18 dollars a month on my credit card, but it's a loss for their company none the less... 1.5.6 lost a customer tonight. Call me a complainer and a whiner , but I don't have a lot of time to play like some, when I do I want a reliable source not constant apologies and mishaps .. Good luck ESO hope you don't end up like my 1st love (City of Hero's/Villains) Peace!

    Hell I'd even give the apologies a little more credit if they were preemptive instead of like a five year old getting caught and knowing they have to "say sorry" to get on with their day.
