1 second attack?

I am a v14 sorc with mostly gold impen armor. How is this attack possible to do 4 strikes and do this much damage in one second? No, I was not on a mount. I can't even press the key that many times in one second. Is this player using a macro? Is that an exploit?

Have you tried turning off your modem, then your pc... then waiting 2 minutes to turn your modem on... and then another 2 more to turn back on your pc?

seems like the NB only hit three buttons
one from far away from you (Ambush)
one at near end of their ambush flight (his Ult)
and one when he landed because I guess you weren't dead yet (Concealed weapon)
Camo hunter hit you due to a pre casting, he didn't have to hit anything mid combo

so really he only hit one button when you had any chance to do anything
and you got chain stunned, you are a vamp or ww, and they dropped an ult on you

not much you could have done probably

No exploit that I can see. I use very similar attacks w/ my NB and it's very fast. That being said if there is no server lag/latency at play (har har) you should have enough HP and time to counter it.

Ah so he actually hit ambush which must take 2 seconds to reach target and in that time was able to hit the other keys. Yeah I was there and dead in less than one second. Anyone who thinks NBs need a buff should see this lol.

you must have the screenshot hosted by a site..like photobucket..plenty of free ones out there..once you have the screenshot uploaded to that site they'll usually provide an image link with code already in it. Plenty of free sites out there.

This is normal. Camouflaged Hunter will be active before the fight. Ambush has a cast time so soul harvest hits just after the ambush, then one second later the concealed weapon hits.

Not sure how he crit through your impen though, must have very high crit or you don't have enough impen. Also as a sorc if you shield stack you can't be ganked like this, as it gives you time to react and recover.

I know I jacked up a couple of AD this morning with a rotation like that. I can't see the photo, but based on the skills listed I can assure you that it's all button pushes with no macros (though Camo Hunter is a proc).

*edit: based on the numbers shown, the only crit is Ambush, which is expected out of stealth. The rest are not crits.

how about fragment+curse (1000+700 minimum) then streak streak streak curse streak streak exploit? ohh wait it is not exploit is it? well. exploit just like what you described. i bet you complain, because you was unable to streakspam out, am i right?

and use your über class shield maybe? you know you can right?

ppl wonder they get killed by NB, but they dont realize they do same thing, and if its a vampire, its more bad. go stealth....start a fragment, curse, abuse the streak disorient, curse, fragment streak etc... and your lightings to execute or whatever you want to use.
But these ppl complain that they are killed by NBs.... did you used class shield? seems you didnt. Are you a vamp or ww? yes.... well i bet you love your über swarmcrap, but you know, there is fighting guild thx god.
AAAAAAAAnd you know i bet you are light armored, and you can use light armor skill..... that and your class shield and lol at NB.... but well you can come here and complain about something what is avoidable with ease.

Those attacks was not even near what you can do without starting from stealth. And you dont need to attack from cloak to CC someone.

just push a button to keep shield up while you run around like a rambo. Strange thing that i had 2 NB vs me and both ambushed me from stealth, i killd one of em. how strange i am NB too.....low health.... how did i survived that? :O why didnt i came here and complained about what they did?
There was times before nerf, when i was killd like you now, but i didnt do anything to avoid the gank. i was not using harness magicka, immovable, nothing. just ran like a brainless rambo, and got what i deserved. Shield could save my ass, but nah i didnt used it.

And those damage numbers are a shame. all class can do them without preparation from stealth. Shame, big shame.

Curse usually hits me for 450 dmg and frags around 600-650. Don't you have spell resistance if you get hit for 700/1k?

I never got onehitted from a sorc out of stealth, while it happens quite often with NBs. Soul Harvest 2850 dmg is max I've seen so far.

Not the same build as OP is describing, but with Lethal + Camo + Weapon Power potion + light/poison inject threading I can put down well over the numbers being described.

Top burst I have seen is about 4000 total damage in about 1 second, and sustain is near 1200 so long as they remain at low health for that sweet poison injection tick.

Using straight lethal arrow + shadowy disguise spam I can put down close to 1800 DPS until magicka runs dry (about 6 rotations)

So the fact OP saw a magicka/spell damage specced NB put out similar numbers, doesnt surprise me. Nightblades are extremely powerful now, id say they have been for quite some time despite all the whining.

No. NBs arent weak if they spec into stealth+burst, they are strong, but die fast. I never seen 2.8k ulti on me. Its really a good single target ULTIMATE, but i was stunned and swarmed for 1.8k and who knows, maybe 6 other too, so mehh. 2.8k is too much i understand, because you can only have around 3.6k health... and Soul ulti does over 3k.....ofc noone complain... well..... its ulti....single target at least not another aoe crap.

Another note: STACK SHIELD like most good players do... they run over 1k shields at least. its not much? stack another. Light armor shield is good vs gankmagicka NB. too lazy? come here and complain.
90% ppl move in stealth if not zergraiding, to avoid zergraids. some horseracing and complain about getting killd on horse.... some run rambo style, getting killed and complain. better players esp sorcs, using at least class shield, some using LA shield and running with it...i know its so hard to push a button every ~20 sec. out of combat regen is great for prebuffing, so you cant be ambushed. I can even spam immovable while running without stealth and it helps against stunners, and full stamina when the 8 sec is over.

But yes... why can ppl attack me at cyrodiil at all? Why can someone kill me? its so sad and bad..... Nerf Cyrodiil!

PS.: you all know that anyone can attack you from stealth, so better you buff up when you start to run without stealth. not only NB will kill you. At least easy kill is the guy who started this thread.

I hit a sorc with flying blade for 1.3k dmg.... nerf it pls....

lol someone gets killed by sorcs a lot. 1000 damage on frag minimum? lol 1k frag is CRIT, maybe you should roll impen? Frag does ~750 dmg with spell power at soft cap and ~2600 mag. Plus, frags has a cast time ambush does not. And curse? You can't heal through ~600-700 damage every 3.5 seconds max? You are a glass cannon, you're going to get blown up. Sorcs just happen to be able to catch your glass cannon nb; they are not OP.

not on me, guildy told that he did some of that. for myself, i use impenetrable gear. Even i could use LA shield if curse is on me, and it will do none or small damage. But complaining about a ganker NB because the sorc was lazy to use one skill what is enough to survive, is not better eighter.

And im not even that type of magicka ganker NB, i defend the fact, that sorcs has the abilities to mitigate the dmg, so he can survive, chase, and kill such a ganker NBs.
