First of the Lag Fixes Coming in 1.5.6 on Monday, November 24

During today's ESO Live show, it was mentioned that the first of the fixes is coming in update 1.5.6 to address the lag issues in Cyrodiil. The investigation is continuing and there will be more fixes coming in future patches. Update 1.5.6 is tentatively scheduled to arrive on Monday, November 24.
While some of the lag problems will probably still exist to some degree after Monday, we should see some performance and responsiveness improvement provided the patch works. To me, it sounded like things will be better but won't be 100% yet, Lag/freezes when weapon swapping may also be fixed on Monday.
Additionally, some changes related to audio cues in combat (specifically audio for your own attacks) will be distinguishable from the combat sounds of others around you.

Also, it was mentioned a couple of minutes prior to the lag fixes that the devs are still working on changes to forward camps, the latest of which is a respawn timer which would be similar to the amount of time needed to travel from a nearby keep. No ETA was given for these changes.
No release timetable or future PVP changes were discussed for Update 6.

k2blader✭✭✭✭✭Thanks for the info! If they truly fix the weapon swap issue on Monday that would be something. Really looking forward to FCs coming back with improvements. I've always played like death "means something" so it'll be nice to have quicker access to fun areas on the map again.Disabling the grass may improve performance.1 -

✭Well its crunch time, lag has just hit the patience limit. This needs fixing as top priority. Zos has hemorrhaged lots of players from pvp as we're barely pop capped on Thorn EU in prime time. The longest que I've had since the original 6 month subs ended is 3! It used to be 50-70+. And no I don't believe everyone is doing undaunted. People have left the game.
If a fix isn't imminent, they won't have a pvp left.0 -

✭Yeah, Ill believe that when I see it. They have been "fixing" lag in cyrodiil for 7 months now...Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.2 -
