Can I log into the EU server if I'm in the US and if I can will I loose the ability to log onto the NA server when its back up?

✭✭✭You can have all 3 NA, EU, and PTS, but they are all 3 seperate downloads and your character can not switch between them.0 -

Damn, that sucks! Would be great if we could log onto the EU server and play until NA server maintenance is over and back up and running. I think there would be enough people to actually get some group content done with all NA people on the EU server together. And vise a versa when EU server is down for maintenance. If servers were full I would suspect that this would be a problem but they are far from full!!!
But I suppose you might get a large shift of players on one server go to the other server leaving one server very empty. Oh well, I guess not much can be done other then being patient and waiting it out. lol, hate/like maintenance!

✭✭✭The servers are quite full but people are spread throughout all the zones instead of just two. That's the hard part.0 -

You can change which one you log into via the laucher settings, but the minute you get the NA update, you can't play on EU server, until the EU server gets it.
You click on the gear-like symbol at the top of your launcher, and next to megaserver is a flag, click on that, and you can change server.
PTS is a seperate download though.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

✭Necro-ing here to ask for more detail. I would like to play on EU server but still retain access to NA server. I understand I would be starting new charcters there as NA ones do not transfer. I currently have NA and PTS access on my computer.
Some say adding EU is a separate download, some say the opposite. Any clarification please?0 -
reinaldonsSoul ShrivenI play on both Megaservers, EU and NA. The downloads are separated. You can play on EU until NA is on maintenance even if have a patch to download, because you only download the patch after servers come up again.
Addons, characters and configuration are not shared. On your Document directory for ESO will be a live (for NA) and a liveeu (for EU) that have your configurations and addons.
