Crafting Writs exacerbate inventory scarcity

The new crafting writ system, which I like, also makes clear to me that I do not have enough high level materials squirreled away. Spending hours per day moving stuff around to all my mules on two accounts is getting tiresome. Spending all my gold on gaining 10 or 20 inventory slots is criminal in my opinion.

We need some help here. A quick way to help is to remove the cap on stack sizes.

One thing I always liked about TES games was inventory management was not an issue. It pains me somewhat that in the ESO version inventory is such a pain.

I think it would be ok to lower the prices on bank expansions. Why not allow to max it out with 100k?

I have a level 50 Provisioner and am leveling another. But I HATE having to do the stupid drinks because they are totally useless as they still don't stack with food. So I totally RESENT having to go get those stupid mats just to do the provisioning writs every day. STHAP IT ZOS!

I have 80, now 90 slots on my Provisioning Mule, and I never have all the ingredients I need for a Writ. Even my second writ required farming or purchasing 3 of the items just like the first one did.

I now purchased two of each item in the Craglorn Grocer and I just bet the game is now going to ask me to make something I don't have the recipe for (and I have a bunch of them)
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Yeah I've ended up having too much food and drink around also.. and when I make equipment? Ouch. The annoying thing about food and drink is I can make more for every 1 I make, so I end up with extras in my inventory.

Sometimes I hang on to them because the writ comes up again and I can use those for the quest by splitting and restacking it (forces the quest update) and that is a choice that is my fault. Sometimes, I vendor them.. I've thought of selling them to other players, I wondered if they would sell for people trying to complete the quests lazily (kinda defeats the idea of writs, but whatever).. but not sure it is worth it.

It hurts most when making equipment and you gotta carry around that junk you made to hand it in. Usually it is survivable if I hand in immediately after, but those times where I run out of mats midway though? >.<

Foods and Drinks you make are much more powerful than the food and drinks you find, so there is a healthy market for them.

Maybe not so much for the Beverages, but certainly for the foods.

@Nestor: Yeah but the ones the writ asks you to make are kinda meh compared to the consummate stuff I can make :/ most people don't even buy that when I sell it -_-

I have 8 characters on one account with 150-160(?) slots each. It works out to 2k gold horse feeding per day for 49 days + bag upgrades. It is not very expensive in the general scheme of things. Nowadays you can get white drops that sell for over 200 gold.

The main bank is more of a challenge. It goes to, I think, 240, but costs quite a bit. Imo, it's not over the top expensive. Once you max the bank, you can keep everything you need on a daily basis for crafting and offloading hireling mails. Even around 100-150 main bank slots is really, really nice.

Also, because you can be a member of five guilds, you can expand inventory further. Get 9 of your closest buddies to generate one of those 5 guilds and you share another 500 spaces. Ours is used primarily for storing dropped set armor we aren't sure what to do with yet, excess crafting material (especially traits/styles), fishing bait, and other items that you might want to hold onto but don't use very often.

I do agree that relogging is a royal pain and they could ease alot of it by aggregating horse space. Make the stable a sort of second bank. As far as I am concerned, if I am not playing a particular toon, that toon has the horse 'stabled' and is living it up at the inn.
