Happy maint mon ppl. Anyways just wanted to share some info. Last Friday I got irritated doing some PVL(player vs lag) on thorn. I moved my home campaign to Azura. At first there were 4 AD 0 DC and 38 EP on the server. It was completely red. I took a resource solo and gauged the reaction time of the EP force it was instant. There was some back and forth and the night ended with about 8 of my guild mates and about 12 EPs fighting for most of the evening at BM LM. It was a great time.

In the three days since there are now around 40 AD on the leaderboard at least 100 on EP side and as of midnight last night when I went to bed 6 DC. Yes when we take the EMP keeps the zerg of pvers comes out to take everything back. However last night was the turning point. I know it was sunday so not everyone was online. But AD capped EMP and it was a fight at every keep roughly even numbers. Around 20 for both AD and EP. When the EP PVE zerg got online and tried to push us out they couldn't get past faregyl. Yes they recapped EMP, but they lost both scrolls doing it. When I left AD had home keep advantage and both scrolls, DC was pushing out and during all of this there was no lag.

I just wanted to post and let the population know that we can have fun competitive pvp we just have to get off of thorn. 40 AD have already taken the first step for you. Who's next? All you have to do is join the campaign. The action is real. The AP is real and there is no lag.

Nice you found something you enjoy.
But..
if ZOS would actually do something for the server structure/program coding, we wouldnt even have lag on a pop locked Thornblade..or anywhere else in the game.
Instead, with every patch, somehow the ability of the game servers to hold people degrades...it almost feels like ZOS doesnt want more people but less and less..so tell me please Zenimax
do you actually want to shelve this game to maybe do a TESO 2.0 like FFXIV did?
Might e an idea afterall to get your act together IF it is not to late.
It shouldnt be the case, when ever all 3 realms AT ONCE battle, that the server lags..but it is..and it transfers over to the pve side aswell.
So please, either shut the game down, work it over and rerelease or do something for the stability, as it is, it is unplayable when maintimem hits.
We shouldnt be forced to spread out the thin layer of pop we are allready down to.

Don't kid yourself there is no PVP over on thorn and nothing actually counts. Even if you get EMP it doesn't count its hollow. But I will let odinscar and tripe know u called em pvers

Interesting, may have to wander over since I'm mostly solo now with Venatus essentially defunct right now. TB is god awful now and I doubt today's maintenance is going to change a thing. BUT be careful what you wish for as once you get more on a server and they converge on a location the lag bomb is dropped and it doesn't matter what server it is imho.

I can assure you there is far more skill involved in taking 4-6 people to a buff server and having success than there is involved in following the blob on failblade.

Try taking a gate keep with four people some time, then youll know what damage and resource management actually is. (especially when a half dozen or more supposed PvEers are defending it)

Lol, server use to be continually blue. Abraxus left, and now a new blue guild is there. It's a good fight against them. Pvers, we are not... It is just what happened in between then. We welcome a real fight, but Azuras Star is our choice to avoid thornlag... Crashblades long wait times. Welcome to the server - hope to see more of u there.

Don't get confused. Rologue is Azura's EU, the others discussing above I think are all Azura's NA.

It's time for ZOS to tag the campaigns differently on EU and NA. Avoid all this server mixup.
