I think they just made the drop rate the same (or maybe slightly better) than it is when not doing a survey.
Also, did you loot your Nirncrux in upper or lower Craglorn ?
... and one from the WW survey, which may very well have been a "normal/non-survey" upper crag drop.
can I ask, what are these surveys?
They were dropping too much with the previous rates. Sooner or later they would have been as valuable as daedra hearts.leandro.800ub17_ESO wrote: »I also got none from BS survey.
I guess price will go from 6k to 12k again

I have turned in 2 Clothing, 3 Woodworking and 2 Enchanting jobs for not much and no maps in the last day or so. I have had 3 maps since this started and at this point I'm not doing crafting writs anymore. I have all the crafts but it's a waste of time and effort, to say nothing about materials.
I did one blacksmithing-, one woodworking- and three tailoring surveys today.
Before 1.5.4. I would get nothing from WW or tailoring, but five nirncrux from BS surveys. They addressed this imbalance in the patch (Didn't mention WW though).
Today I got 1 Nirncrux total. Nothing from BS, nothing from the three tailoring surveys and one from the WW survey, which may very well have been a "normal/non-survey" upper crag drop.
So, it appears they equalized Nirncrux drop rates across the different survey types by removing them altogether. Cool.
I've always gotten exactly 5 Nirncrux of either type from BS surveys before, so if this is RNG related, that's also new.
I got 1 nirncrux from the BS survey yesterday before the wasp swarm detected and killed me and the nodes all disappeared.
But then I got a nirncrux off a nearby void bloom.
Don't even get me started on how ridiculous it is to expect a crafter to fight off half a dozen wasps. I guess we're expected to group to farm now.

I usually have no problems with the vasps at VR6, but the one time I was careless and died, the nodes didn't despawn.

So happy everyone else is so much more awesome and higher level than me. But I'm the one geting nirncrux nodes even if I can't use them.
Since high level crafters of all character levels must go to upper Craglorn to receive their reward it's a kick in the teeth to put so many mobs literally on top of the rewards.
If the nodes were not supposed to despawn I guess I'd better put in a bug report.
I had such a good laugh today as i went to the nirncrux mine in upper nirncrux to collect my 5 nirncrux from the blacksmith survey.
You known the one with the troll right next to the ores. Too close to sneak collect them.
As a v14 dk i thought no problem will just drop my standard and lava whip it, but then the mine doors swung open and a team of 6 npc's including OP archers came running out to get me.
3 soulgems later and with tears from laughing i finally got some help from 2 others and none of us harvested any nirncrux.
Good job on that one zenimax! Never say this game is boring, haha.
