Bangkorai Main Quest line. Need advice

This was a pain in the ass for me when I came through on my main and it's a pain in the ass again now on an alt. I save Evermore and the queen is just standing there with no sign of King Emeric. All the tiny quests around bangkorai garrison are done. There is nobody to talk to there and nobody to talk to in Evermore.

Last time I was able to find King Emeric inside the keep at Evermore and he started the rest of the chain. He isn't there now. So what is the key quest that must be completed in order to get Emeric to show up? I've checked around, googled it, and went to various different sites. For some reason I seem to be the only person that is retarted enough to lose the main quest chain here everytime I come through Bangkorai

Happened to me too. Then, totally unexpectedly, I came across Emeric and an army in some location I don't even remember now, and was finally able to finish up. That was on my main some time ago and I've not yet taken my collection of alts through that quest completely yet again. Sorry, I know that doesn't actually help you. This is just a, "I feelz yer pain," and, "You are not alone," post!

Unless I've completely forgotten about a step, you should have received at least one quest directing you to go south (to where the fort stops you from going in to Southern Bangkorai). Emeric is waiting there with his army.

Aye he is supposed to be. But he isn't. Not this time nor the last time I came through. last time I ran into him in castle Evermore and he asked me to meet him at the gates of Bangkorai Garrison. Maybe it's a lvl requirement? This particular character is lvl 43. You would think that would be plenty high enough since the highest lvl mob in Bangkorai is 42

If I'm understanding you correctly you've completed "Storming the garrison" and you would like to pick up the quest "Striking back". If memory serves me correctly when you've completed the garrison King Emeric is waiting just outside the southern gate of the garrison with a couple of troops.

Storming the Garrison is the one that I can't seem to pick up.

I remember having a similar problem. I believe there is a gate switch you activate somewhere to let them in.

So if you have just completed "destroying the dark witness" you will need to speak Wyress Freyda to receive the quest "Heart of evil" in Jackdaw Cove. Follow the quests there until you've received "rendezvous at the pass" which will take you to the Bangkorai garrison

EDIT: "the heart of evil" comes before "the parley" in the Jackdaw Cove questline

If you have the "rendezvous at the pass" quest already King Emeric is waiting at the wall just north west of the north gate in from of a large storm drain located in the garrison wall. The quest says lvl 40 so you shouldn't be blocked due to lvl.

This ^ "Heart of Evil" in Jackdaw Cove is the one I was missing. It leads to "Rendezvous at the Pass" which leads to "The Parley" which leads to "Storming the Garrison" http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Heart_of_Evil

Thanks a bunch to everyone for your time and help :)

Yeah sorry I just edited my post to include "heart of evil" which comes before "the parley" which I originally stated...please see edit above.

The correct progression should be Heart of Evil>The Parley>The last Spriggan>Rendezvous at the pass. Although the last spriggan may not be necessary.

    Happy hunting!

"The Last Spriggan" isn't necessary. Until I got creamed by Mannimarco, back in v1.4.2 and stopped progressing that character past L44, I had made it through the garrison and fought the critters on the other side. I didn't see "The Last Spriggan" quest until last week when I was wandering about gathering materials for a crafting writ. (I'm progressing the character again as I went in and clipped Mannicrappo upside the head yesterday ;) )

This is correct. When you go into the drainage tunnel and you get to the end there is a gate switch you have to trigger. I missed it the first time and it took me retracing my steps from the beginning and looking everywhere to see it.
