What's the incentive to do Crafting Writs?

I had a severe problem with crafting writs in the months prior to one tamriel release. But they seem to have balanced it much, much better since then. I think you actually come out ahead now if you figure in for increased gold material drop rate. I'd say they are doing pretty good with the rewards for writs again.

....and keep in mind that I was one of the guys publicly complaining about it before one Tamriel release. I didn't do the math, but it seems like it's worth it to do the crafting writs again to me.

After you put in some gold for a stockpile of mats, and doing them daily on a few chars, you can make in excess 100k+ per week no problem, plus a healthy amount of gold mats.

Worth doing.

Althought Dolgubons Lazy Writ Crafter makes it way less monotonous in the hour needed to do them all on a few alts.

Yes, it feels like you are using a bot almost, but if you are doing writs, you should have the Dolgubons Lazy Writ add on for certain. With the add on and the improvements recently made to rewards and surveys, you can get writs done on multiple toons shockingly fast.

I did not even know about lazy writ crafter till a few months ago, done writs for absolutely months almost daily without it.

I used to do all 6 Writs on all 12 of my Toons everyday.

Now I only do the Consumable Writs.

The Equipmenet Writs aren't worth the time.

Regardless of the "double node drops", they don't drop often enough. You get crates with (already-refined) lower-level mats that have *no* business dropping to replace my end-game Materials. (They should AT LEAST be raw so you can refine them for a chance at a Yellow.)

And when I do get a Survey I have to run all across Nirn to collect.

So, for me, I've stopped doing Equipement Writs and I keep a stack of each Food / Drink / Potion for the Consumable. 5 seconds at the Enchater Table + Lazy Writ Addon and I'm off to Craglorn.

And honestly, if I didn't already have the Food / Drink / Potion already in my bags I'd probably not do any of them.
