Veteran Dungeon Scaling

I just tried veteran "Crypt of Hearts" daily pledge and I have to say it was the worst time I ever had in this game. I was in a random but still capable group. I had done this dungeon before and so I knew the mechanics but still it was very hard to even get to the last boss. There was no room for any mistakes what so ever with a bunch of instal-kill situations. The last Boss is nearly impossible to beat imo in his current state.
I know some people might say that the new dungeon difficulty is super doable and that I should just stop whining and get to know my class bla bla. But I've done the veteran dungeons before and the difficulty was fine in my opinion. They were not too easy and got increasingly difficult with higher vr. Why do they have to scale to my level now I don't see the point. It's nice that the normal dungeons scale to my level because I wouldn't have done them again otherwise but the veteran dungeons?
They don't need to scale really... If you want a challenge just do a difficult one. If you are just in for a quick run do an easy one.
They are supposed to be dailies for God's sake. So why make them super difficult? And for what? Just some random blue item nobody really needs anyway.
Are the veteran dungeon now supposed to be pro content for elitists or what is the idea behind all this?

    Did CoH vr1 run. The big part was easily done, but when we got to the last boss it all became really hard. Saving 4 wraiths had to be ditched as impossible. The worst was when the boss became invisible. We had a sword wielding maniac hitting us while we had to AoE him. There was no way telling where he was but to check who was being hit in our group. Hope that was a bug. Did kill him in the end. Luckily, we didn´t spend hours doing vr12 run to be beaten by nearly unkillable invisible boss.

    On our run the boss did an emote at 35% then froze in place and stopped attacking. He never pulled the sword out so we just killed the wraiths then killed him while he just stood there, and we got the gold key. GG Zeni

    Got this key on three diffrent characters, and ran it another two times to help out others.

    Edit: Btw crypt was always v12

    I have noticed the "scaling" seems a bit excessive for the undaunted pledge dungeons when scaling to v12. I have done all the veteran dungeons previously but doing the regular dungeons or lower vet dungeons scaled to v12 seems very difficult. Yes I only do pick up groups ATM so deaths are to be expected but this seems a tad overkill. I am wondering if some mob abilities are just scaling very badly.

    Uh...COH doesn't scale. It'd already had vet 14 mobs, nothing changed there.

    And COH has always been a difficult one. The question of other dungeons' scaling...imho it just needs a nice little off switch for when people do NOT want dungeons to scale. Regardless of that, your complaint about COH is invalid - I ran it just last night twice and can say for sure nothing changed there. Furthermore, now you can actually scale COH to LOWER level if that's what you want, making it a lot easier and doable for non-vet 10+ players.

    No, the current v12 COH is harder than pre-1.5 COH. The bosses have more health and do more damage. For example, the boss prior to the last boss has more than double the HP she used to have.

    To give players at level cap incentive to revisit content that developers worked very hard on. As it stood pre 1.5, many players were even skipping the low level dungeons in favor of grinding to v12. The logic here is pretty straight forward.

    We really didn't run into a huge problem when we cleared CoH last night. Except second to last boss we had our healer and higher DPS two-man it because it seems the voids that appear were not even allowing us to do the normal roll away from each other. Other than that, the last boss was a b**ch just like he's always been. Was really really fun though.

    ._. Tbh I didn't look at their healthbar much, but they went down just the same way as always - few troubles here and there when we made some mistakes, but overall fine. Definitely not hitting harder than before, trash has roughly same health as before(noticed that comparing their health to other dungeons' trash scaled to vet 12), can't confirm boss health for sure but everything seemed the same to me.
