Weapon Damage Glyphs.

A VR7 epic spell damage glyph adds 10 spell damage, but even though it takes twice as much weapon damage to increase skills, the same type of glyph for weapon damage, also adds 10 weapon damage.

That doesn't make sense to me, shouldn't it give 20 weapon damage? Since weapon damage on armor sets is also double that of spell damage on armor sets. As a Templar destruction staff user it is nigh impossible for me to reach the soft cap like this. With an epic staff, weapon damage on all jewels and on armor sets, I barely reach 170 weapon damage, with the cap being at 195 I think.

Even with vr12 legendary glyphs, I'd only have 12 points or so more, not enough for soft cap.

It doesnt take twice as much weapon damage to increase skills. Weapon damage just has a higher soft cap than spell damage.

Look at sets. If a set bonus grants you +7 spell damage the equivalent of that set for stamina will provide + 14 weapon damage. Glyphs simply never got updated to the proper ratio.

P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.

I've heard that the opposite is true, it takes more weapon damage points to raise skill damage, than it takes spell damage points.

It does require hell of alot more of weapon damage to increse stamina based skills damage compared to any magicka based skill damage increased with spell damage.
Its not eevn twice as much. Its almost 3 times weaker.

Yeah that's why I don't get why weapon damage glyphs are so much weaker than spell damage glyphs. There's no way I can ever reach soft cap as a Templar, without using two garbage armor sets. I already use one bad armor set just to get to 170 weapon damage.
