HOW TO WORK AROUND PLAYING ESO FOR THOSE WHO USE ESO THROUGH THE LAUNCHER

I play on the NA megaserver and as far as I can tell, there is no error with our patcher (although I'm not about to test it LOL).

I know some of you have already updated so you'd need to remove the update somehow (it must be possible, I just have never attempted it). For those of you who did not yet update but are EU, don't open your patcher until this is fixed. Instead Launch Steam... if you don't have it... why not? All gamers should. :grinning:

Launch Steam.. go to "Library" at the bottom left there should be an option to Add a Game... Add ESO.exe as a Non-Steam game. Launch from there. $$$$$$$$PROFIT$$$$$$$$$$$$

Of course anyone who launches from Steam, will have to open the patcher whenever they want to "repair" or get an official update, hotfix, etc... however you can launch the game just fine through Steam without it. You could even make a shortcut to your desktop if you don't want to use Steam however it's a great way to manage screen-shots and let your friends see what game you are in.

I have no problems with the Steam Overlay and ESO and have been using it this way even in Beta. Hopefully that helps some of you who want to play in the meantime!
