Why the EU? Because of the hour or it just didn't affect the NA client (I'm not going to check... I want to keep at least one server playable until they fix it. )Too late, not only for me, but most everyone else on the EU server.
We really are second-class payment-making-sponges, I think.

Not much of a response, just that they are looking into it.
Damn, you would think they would check a patch works before they roll it out.
And if it doesn't work, you would think they would have some method of letting us undo the patch.

It's not even that. It looks like the patch went live before the server updated. So the patch probably works fine, it's just the server that is calling BS on it.

You know, I think that's even worse, getting a server to recognise a patch is even more basic than making sure the patch works.

Not quite. The server and the client need to have the same version. They probably work together fine, the problem is they haven't updated the server along with the clients... which would mean taking it down for maintenance.

Well call me stupid, but that sounds like the only solution then, because once some of us have the update, we can't un-update.

Yeah, that is probably the only real solution.

So how long do you think it will take for this to occur to them?

Worst case? The 1.5.3 server build isn't actually ready for prime time, which could mean as much as 28 hours (since it was scheduled to be pushed live at 8am Monday)... best case? Two or three more hours.

ok, oh well, I'll play another game for a few hours and see if it's fixed, thanks.
