How about scaling on loot

I do not understand the recent patch to scale the dungeons. If I could not do the dungeon at the level you thought I could do it, what makes you think I can do at my higher level, and now that it is scaled to that. But enough of that gripe. Where we need scaling is on loot drops. I spend more time getting times that are one to two levels above me! why dont you randomly scale the drops so I at least get items I might be able to use rather than selling them or giving them to friends to grind to dust?
Scale the loot drops !!

They won't scale loot, otherwise there is no reason for us to head for the higher levels.

In some ways I like getting stuff that is above my level, as I have something to grow into. In other ways this is bad because I don't have the bad space to keep it around until I gain that level.

Some quest rewards probably should be at the higher level if they are unique or something like that. However since I craft for my character, it all gets deconn'd anyway.

I am reminded of the movie Knights Tale where William takes the intricately carved gold horse and hands it to his squires and says "Break it down, sell it, do whatever it is you do with it"
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Quest rewards are higher. For example, I am VR9 but have some VR11 stuff from doing quests in Craglorn. The loot that dropped from VR11 enemies I killed during quest were scaled to VR9, but the quest reward was not.

I think these were the storyline quests. The daily quests seem to give you a bag that you open and the contents of the bag are scaled to you.

It's all temporary till VR14 right. I make my own or have some one make what I need since I play DK Tank/Destro I need heavy armor set and light armor set. The stuff I find I pretty much vendor unless it's something decent then I may try to put it up on Trader. At one point I was over 100k, so I decided to buy all my bag slots and some more bank slots. Leaving myself close to 40k it only took me a couple days playing and doing quest to bring it up over 100k again. And that's selling everything except blues and purples to a vendor.

Yeah this, I am in the same boat - I have had VR11 stuff from completing Craglorn quests as quest rewards, but mob drops are at my current level.

Also now the solo stuff is scaled, the quest rewards are scaled - the prophets ring that you get from the first main quest used to be level 3, but I now have one on a new character which is level 7, the ring was scaled to the level I was when I completed the quest. I am tempted to run one character and leave the MQ and FG/MG quests til I hit VR1 to see what level the rewards are (if they scale that high, they might have more long-term use potential!)
