Can we get alchemy resources not counting for the quest

or at least let us abandon the quest and get a different one. I've only been able to complete the alchemy crafting once so far.
While you're at it perhaps the enchanter quest can occasionally pick a glyph that doesn't take an additive rune.....I'm running low on those but have plenty of subtractive.
