since update 5 has stuffed up all the addons, i used the link that dominoid posted,
iv managed to get the settings to come back, tho the main addon i wanted to work was ggFrames, it all works except for the players/target names or the hp/mag/stam number to come up

and yes i have turned the settigns on n off reinstalled its just not working

Compatibility tool and Libadon made all my addons work again. Be sure to thank @Garkin
Edit: and if it's not the case, consider using Minion to manage addons, it's really the fastest way to keep them all up to date & get new ones without having to bother installing them. Since last updates many bugs in Minion have been fixed so it's pretty stable now.Edited by TehMagnus on November 6, 2014 10:18AM0 -

yea i did use garkins addon and it brang back the settings just some of them arnt working

Be sure to install both "Compatibility Tool V5" (I think this is Garkin's) and Lib addon 2. I needed both to get ggframes to work again. Didn't need any tweaking besides that.Edited by TehMagnus on November 6, 2014 10:55AM0 -

the font i was using was the problem, i changed fonts and its working now LOL
been sitting here for ages, deleted reinstalled all addons and all i had to do was change the font, so if anyone is havign same problem i did change the font lol
thnx for the help the compatibilty tool helped fix a few others 1
