Every update I hope that the developers took a part of their time to make shield and weapon dyes work. Every update I'm disappointed.

✭✭✭✭✭I have been lucky that I have been able to pick a shield that is pretty close to the dyes I pick, or at least they compliment each other. For example, the stock VR1-3 Breton Shield was a perfect match to my Barbaric Heavy Armor that I dyed with Green and Gold.
However the shield is almost never the same motif as the armor. And, if your going to try this, don't improve the shield until you see if it compliments or matches the armor.
I do wish they would get the Shield Dyes out soon, if they are going to offer it.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭Hey! Can we get a response concerning XP being completely *** up?!Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.2 -

IIRC the reason for not being able to dye shields and weapons was because you didn't want pink swords. Is it not possible in the case of weapons to simply limit the colour pallet to "metal" colours for blades and leave shields open to the same as armours.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

Umm, don't know how to break this to you, but at VR14 you end up with purple swords/axes/hammers/knifes, just as ridiculous. We just want to be able to dye them into reasonable colours.
Originally I wanted to be able to dye my swords in colours that reflect the enchantments on them, which would have been no more ridiculous than purple, but now I would be happy with metallic hues.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

To be fair when dyes first came out there was a lot of people in pink armour running around. Once the novelty wore off people are just dying their armour in their favourite colours. My Orc has dark green and black, yet his shield is purple and his weapons are gold and blue. The sooner i can match these up the less silly my character will look.1 -

As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.1 -
