Now there terrain is actually used for combat.

No troll camps.

No random attacks behind the battle front.

I saw WAY more people running though the country side. Now we'll be able to use all the villages and buildings in the area for combat.

    You are mistaken.

Um, Morvegil has given a list of Facts and an opinion, the facts are probably true, and the opinion is personal, not something you can say is wrong.

You are entitled to disagree, but an opinion like this can't actually be wrong.

Last night I decided to pop into Cyrodiil to check out LAFC "Life After Forward Camps".

I played my EP DK character who is only alliance rank 5 in pvp since she's my primary crafter and doesn't even have a speed horse. I rode my slow horse to where I thought I'd see some action, being sure to jump off my horse and stealth prior to reaching my objective.

Sure enough, I found a couple of allies working on taking an enemy resource. They kindly invited me to group and our group never reached zerg proportions. Nor did our enemies have any zergs.

I stayed up far too late engaging in tons of small scale skirmishes. It was very interesting how everybody, even my DK, had bow equipped as one of their weapons.

3 of us tried to take one of the outposts, only to be defeated by 5 enemies once we busted the door down. It was very entertaining to have small scale PvP for a change!

Am a whimsical Generation Jones gamer. Online RPGs hooked me since '94 and no sign of stopping soon...

Yesterday, I fought alongside two others at a resource besides a keep siege, the fight was on and off as we slowly took out the guards from range over around ten minutes. It was great, there was six of them with their npc guards, but with stealth and patience I'd like to think both sides had an entertaining fight.

It reminded me of my first experiences of pvp during the tests and early access, I anticipate that rhythm returning, albeit different and only similar but yes. Should be positive, let's wait and see.

Reminds me of closer to launch when PvP was more interesting.

Small-scale PvP between keeps was always more compelling than siege and spam lagfests at keeps.
Glad to see the removal of Forward Camps has returned things to how it was before camp spam killed it all.

Some players will whine about getting ganked, and about Stealth builds being "overpowered"; however, those of us who already comprehend the counters, game mechanics, and have a comprehension of how to actually fight are in for a great time.

Well I am wondering why all you small skirmish lovers play on Thorn? There are plenty of those in Haderus or Chilrend, or at least used to be.
