Thank you for this update. It's nice to know you are working on it, but ... it's been two weeks. I think it's time we find out if we should stop using it, start using it in a certain way or just wait some more while spamming chat.
Also, please, stop trying to find the reasons for LFG not working properly in what we do. There is almost nothing you can do with such minimalist LFG tool.

It's simple ... it's not working no matter how you use it. Now, what have you found out?

Just stop wasting resources trying to "repair" it.

There are plenty of good suggestions on what a good LFG should be able to do in this thread, just build it from scratch. Design usually takes more time than implementation, and that's already been done for you

Is it even possible to change the role when the search is going on? I think it just says 'disabled' when you hover over the selection icons at that point? Anyway, I specified roles tank+dps, selected all-veteran-dungeons, and let it run for 6 hours - no groups found. I find it hard to believe that during weekend peak-hours at no point is any party lacking a tank or dps.

I have also tried every other possible options for role/dungeon, and have never found a group after the update.

We have also tried it the other way around - i.e. search for replacement when our 3-toon team is lacking one member. No luck, ever. Before the update, it was usually possible to use the finder to fill a single open spot, but no more.

No idea whether the tools is malfunctioning or if there just isn't any people as the tool doesn't give any feedback, and fails so badly in basic UI-design principles that I suspect it has been created by former microsoft engineers.

Now ZOS is doing something similar. They are trying to convince us that the reason for LFG not working at all, is something we've done or not done. It's actually a good idea. Keep us in the dark and questioning long enough and we will not realize they have absolutely no idea how to, not only improve this system, but actually make it work.
I am actually wondering if there is anyone who managed o get a group using LFG tool since 1.5?

Grouping Tools
Updated the Grouping Tool to allow groups to be searched for Dragonstar Arena as long as you meet the Veteran Rank requirements.

Since i din't see anything about fixing the LFG tool on the patch notes, shouldn't you fix it before you add more dungeons?

meanwhile skills are still not working or dealing ANY damage......I waited 3+ hours using LFG tool with NO luck. Either the tool is broken as all hell, or people truly dont care about doing the best part of this game, dungeons.

I feel the pain i have yet to do much of the new Craglorn stuff except grinding because spamming for grps and having people agree then quit in the middle of a run or not even get a reply for hours on end is just too much to go thru .
would love to experience it but not sure if it will happen

That is correct. However, it's possible to change dungeon mode (normal/veteran).

It would be nice if they added in an additional UI element, even temporarily, to promote the LFG tool or a message from the undaunted. Or even an ingame message from the Undaunted to invite you to a adventuring get together. You could provide a reward after successfully completing an instance with a group found with the LFG tool etc.

In order to get people to use it you have to provide a carrot for someone to chase. There really isn't an incentive to use the tool as of right now. Some things are worth replicating - IE blizzards LFG tool. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Since the beginning of ESO I used Group Finder but you have more luck of getting people in lower levels(1 - 20). Above level 20 people finder keeps searching for hours. Meanwhile you are playing you are suddenly surprised that a people has joined.
