Possible issue with werewolf

I was doing a quest with my werewolf toon and killing things etc progressing nicely .... when i went to talk to an NPC still in werewolf form I had an option to persuade.... I could not.. it read that I need to learn that skill first. I had to leave werewolf form to persuade.

Does this mean that werewolves don't get ANY of their passives from human form as well?

The fact that you can talk to NPCs as a werewolf seems more problematic to me than werewolves not getting the persuade/intimidate abilities...

When you turn into a werewolf all of your skills that aren't in the werewolf tree get "relocked". If you look at your skills when in wolf form you will see that they can be unlocked (not sure if you can/should since I haven't tried). Its like that most likely to prevent people from putting non werewolf skills on their bar.

Still not sure if all passives are disabled or not, will need to test that.

Put a skill point into magelight while in werewolf form and tried to put it on my bar. said,"You dont know this skill. ALso tried Capasitor (sorc passive) and it wouldnt allow me to put a point in it while in werewolf form.

After transforming into a werewolf again. It shows the xp bar next to magelight BUT I have the option to put a point into it again. It seems I have lost this skill point forever.

It is also very lame to see and know that All of your passives dont work in werewolf form.

I'll double check that but if that is the case then with all of your passives...

Guess I have some stuff to look into.

You probably want to make a ticket about that lost skill point. The forums aren't a substitute for that.

And again, I think the bigger issue here is that werewolves can talk to NPCs while transformed. It makes no sense that they would allow that.

    More problematic, or hilarious?

I mean, the people of Tamriel are apparently so worn down by players behaving like complete spazzes with godlike powers that at this point, a nine foot tall snarling deathbeast walking up and talking to them, doesn't raise a blip. They will not be intimidated by it!

One of the main characters of the DC faction is a vampire that no one cares about.
The character we play is also the hero of tamriel. Sooooo..if you want to get all roleplayish here to derail the thread for troll reasons....I can to. No one cares that I'm a werewolf because I killed molag baal. I could be a serial killer and would still be excepted.

Also, only a complete idiot would challenge one of the five companions. You know what really doesn't make sense? Where do DK's wings go after they come out? How come my character never gets tired? I can run for eternity. "It just doesn't make sense."

    Oh....its a game. ;)

That actually sounds like a huge disadvantage if this is the case. A way you could test (if you wanted too just to make sure) is A) check your magicka regen after transforming (as we sorcs get a 10% bonus). Check skill costs before and after transforming (medium passives) or weapon crit for same reason... those are the quickest and easiest ways to check that I can think of... hopefully that isn't the case that you loose all of your passives.
