Just Keep Grinding...

Hi all,

So I got a legit v14 character and another v1 coming up the ranks. I have lost all motivation to repeat the quests I've done twice now for another character I'm looking to level from scratch.

This made me wonder what is the best grinding progression to go through all the levels?

I'm aware of the upper craglorn grinds for vet levels but was wondering where the best spots/groups to grind lvl1-49 are? Also, where are the best farming spots for v14+?

Thanks,

EDIT: Looking for AD locations
EDIT: Looking to form a group to do this not solo.

I just leveled a new character from 1 - 50, just google it and you'll find some good youtube videos on grind spots plus someone else just recently asked the same question on this forum so you can also search here.

Could post a link to that thread as I have gone back several pages here and still can't see any about the topic?

Make sure to check the date of any published information you find when trying to research this; anything from the April, May, and likely, June, and July is likely incorrect at this point (having likely been nerfed in patches).
    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

It will vary by your alliance, but there are several areas in each zone that are pretty obvious if you've been through it once.

Make sure you're within three levels (above or below) the mobs for best XP.

Once you hit level 10, you can always take a couple of friends and do some dungeons in Cyrodiil, too.

I'm assuming that a world boss grind across the entire alliance in a group is the way to do it. I'll have to try it and see.

And for the record I know how to use google...maybe...just maybe, there is a like minded player who would like some help accomplishing this goal who has some relevant information. I'm not looking for some video from June that was probably nerfed.

World Bosses are good, but if they are too high above you, then you won't necessarily get optimal XP.

I would suggest getting to a zone and doing all the skyshards and dungeons and worl bosses, and by the time you are done with that, you'll probably only need to grind the last spot in that area before you are ready to move on.

Plus, you get the skill points from the skyshards.

(Though you may want to consider the main quests in each zone as well, as they will give you skill points too.)

Agreed. Public dungeons seem to net good xp compared to questing. I've heard this was nerfed last patch?

The main quests are always a priority...can't pass up those skill points. In terms of gathering skyshards I always grab them as I have the addon. I've got no problems gathering skyshards and skill points. Usually can collect them all in a couple hours per zone.

I'm really just concerned with farming exp.

EDIT: If reg world bosses are anything like the bosses in crag then the xp should scale based on your lvl.

The idea being you wouldn't get the highest xp possible for being a lower level than the boss, however you'd still be netting more exp/time than say trash mobs or mini bosses in dungeons. This of course all depends on your group size and how that correlates to respawn times.

I'll be checking on that when I get home from work ;)

If you are refering to my post. I'm not kidding. I started my 6th char few weeks back. Used grind spots from this site (http://luismanahan.hubpages.com/) and went from lvl 1 to vet1 in about 52 hours, maybe could have done faster too if tried harder.

And that is the first hit on google when searching.

No I'm not picking out anyone in particular with that, just wanted to draw the proverbial line in the sand so the post wouldn't derail to a "google it" thread.

I appreciate your insights and have done as you suggest. I may not of had the same results return is the issue with google. Thanks for posting the link!
