EU server: Lag is worse than ever?

Granted, things where bad before maintenance. Cyrodill was barely playable last Sunday, and we had a maintenance yesterday night that didn't happen in US, I suppose this was to address the lag issues ("routine" (<= lol) network maintenance)?

Except now things are worse than ever!

Lagspikes, people getting teleported back, people crashing in instances, some of the worse animation lag we've had since the server was moved to Frankfurt, weapons aren't swapping, can't use skills, the whole instance completely freezing for a couple of seconds.

And the list goes on.

Please move back the server to NA or fix Frankfurth for REAL. It just feels like you're moving backwards at this point making things worse instead of fixing them....

That seems like a correct observation. Wasted four soulgems yesterday because I was killed "instantly"by mobs I couldn't even see...

Yesterday even PvE lagged like garbage. Apart from the trash and bosses scripts being bugged as always, bosses were doing abilities that were delayed or just "wrong".

The "move to Frankfurt" act was just a wishful hope. The server and network code are just flawed.

At least, in Warhammer Online (AAA title ... that failed and closed down *hint*) the developers acknowledged it and did something to fix the possible.

Here we get flawed service as default and, when possible, they even skip weekly maintenance so it even get worse in the next weeks.

Contact support and raise a ticket.

Lags again- raise another ticket. Keep raising them.

Contact guild leader get him to raise it, join some more guilds and get everyone you talk to in chat to raise a ticket.

We need to stop asking about this on a forum that ESO largely ignore. Listen to the podcast from summit and Zos actually states that Guild leaders are the 1% and that 80% can be ignored as they don't care.

We need to influence the 1% to be heard

Yep, I encountered all the things you said. The most annoying thing is the animation lag, because it's happening so often. The actual hit itself, the sound effect, and the animation, all desyncronized...

Server isn't feeling much healthier today either. If the game had millions of players I'd understand but for such a low population this is really really bad...

I've logged off the last couple days after attempting to play some PvP and every time it was just one huge lag fest. Shield charge is the worst, every day i use this skill and get stuck in that damn animation whilst other players still impulse spam me to death. This usually happens during prime time when all pops are full. But yesterday it was happening with all 3 factions on low-medium.

Looks like whatever 'fix' they applied to the Euro server only this week had the opposite effect.

-Battle lag is up,
-Item lag is up,
-Resource ident lag is up,
-Treasure chest lag is up,
-Resource gathering sounds are gone again,

Phew.....good thing we have a Test server to test these things out on first....oh wait....

They used to reply tickets (after a while) and then diligently proceeded to ignore them.

Now they stopped replying to my tickets at all.

Same here, seems like the human copying and pasting the predetermined answers was part of the people who got fired a couple of weeks back.

I haven't logged in since a week because i can barely move in PvP. I made an alt (finally) to do PvE again and even that was lagging.

I might try tonight again in Cyyrodil. If i lag again i will lag out and go play alien:isolation instead and decorate my house in ArcheAge.

This is a major part of the reasons why I am not renewing my sub. Never before have I stopped playing a game I enjoy because it doesn't run properly but, I suppose there had to be a first time.

I will be back when there is some new solo content, hopefully by then the game and servers will run better.

This game has so much potential and promised much but, at the very least, Zenimax need to ensure it will run smoothly.

I kicked from game a few times in every day. With no reason or error. Just lag and then I see login window. And it's very frustrating when I enter a combat and get kick from server. But when I'm back I can see lovely death recap with advice.

I have also noticed that all bug reports regarding Lag are not followed up by customer services. I have raised multiple reports and have not yet received any confirmation that they have even acknowledged them.

Bug reports go somewhere else & never get a reply.

The best bet is to create a support ticket, make it clear that you have followed the port opening steps, that they will send you anyway, and attach a game consultant report & request that it be forwarded internally to someone that deals with the EU server/network.

You still probably wont get a timely or helpful (non-cut'n'paste) reply but if everyone does this it should raise some flags somewhere @ZOS.
