1st Person Camera Enhancements

There is a mod for Skyrim that changes the player's 1st person camera by attaching the 3rd Person body to it (while leaving the 1st person arms intact).

The end result is this (apologies for small thumbnail. its hosted on nexusmods): 57859-1-1409979782.jpg

Today's Q&A session on Twitch brought up this topic but only in regard of ESO's normal 1st person camera being allowed to be used while on horseback. I'd like to know if anyone else thinks having your 3rd person body (shadow and all) visible while in 1st person like this would be awesome.

The 1st person horseback question was answered with a "it requires us to make new stuff to support it". But what about this? Would this be just as difficult to do?

I personally think you're idea is a good one. I like games for the immersive artifacts in a game. These small elements would really help make ESO more immersive and I would love to see it come up in a future update. And the question about 1st person horseback... Yes, it would require them to make new stuff... but isn't that kind of your jobs ZoS???

I just RP that my helmet does not allow me to look down.....

Compared to the Beta, First Person has come a long way in this game. We did not even see our weapons when it first was offered.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I would LOVE full body awareness in ESO. The lack of a shadow in first person is very distracting. There's an issue of which way your character faces as you move. If you press backwards in 1st person mode, you walk backwards. If you pull back in to the 3rd person mode you'll notice the model actually turns around and walks the other way. So it wouldn't be as simple as placing the camera in the head of your 3rd person model.

It CAN be done... hopefully it will be done someday.

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.
