Music, could it be litle more regional/Factional?

Just a short one.. Been listening musics in the game and in my opinion, some musics suit certain areas better while others feel out of place in some areas..

I think music could improve atmosphere if it is litle more regional than now, i also think that composers should create more music on regular intervals to improve regional feel and atmosphere and to create more "Musical" atmospheres.

What say you?

I tend to agree with you on this. Remember in Skyrim how the pro-Empire areas sang the Age of Agression where Ulfric was the bad guy and in the pro-Nord areas he was the hero?

I swear I've heard bards in DC and EP areas singing the praises of "Ayrenn, Ayrenn, you are a great Queen..." and think to myself, "WTF? Where are the crowds throwing tomatoes at this clown?"

In our "great wars" there were lots of propaganda songs on all sides. Why aren't there more such songs talking about the "smelly Altmer from Summerset" sung in the mead halls of Skyrim? Or slightly ribald songs questioning the parental lineage of Orcs heard in the boughs of the trees in Valenwood?

Yes indeed, i remember how they sung "Age of agression" and i always asked them to sing "Ragnar the red" to make me mead drinking more enjoyable :)

Other good points you have there too.

Yeah that's one of the things I don't really like in the game since the beginning. We always have the same few musics no matter if we're in the desert or in the snowy north :(

There definitely needs to be more cultural music for each area. I love the game music but as the OP points out, it feels out of place in some areas. And for the love of Sep give the /drum emote some more riffs, some with a middle eastern feel please! Oh and while you're at it...give us the option tell the bards in the ends to STFU. Seriously, at this point I'm so bored out of my mind with the handful of songs they ALL sing that I want to snatch that lute out of their hands and... you get the idea.

i would love zone themed ambient music.

that would be a excellent way to enhance the game play experience..

not like past MMOs and RPGs dont have localized themes.. some of the themes from the last MMO i played were what really made some of those zones.
I play every class in every situation. I love them all.

I totaly agree. The best solution is to get the music from The Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim (from Jeremy Soule) and start it when playing the game to get the elder scroll atmosphere back.
Too bad that they didnt get Jeremy Soule to do the music. I like the music in ESO but its nothing compared to Jeremy's.

Maybe it would be better if they'd get Malukah to sing it :)
