There is a lot of talk about end game content in ESO and it's design. It's basically designed to be more of a group play than solo and this is proving to be a major sore for many that enjoy solo play or are having problems in finding a group.
Future updates will of course bring us more solo content, but they will also bring us more group content while problem of getting a group will remain the same.
A group focused player can always leave her/his group and continue to play solo, while solo oriented player has to use a chat or LFG tool to find a group. And this is where the problem appears. LFG or chat simply do not produce results fast enough. You often have to use both of them to find a group and even that can take several hours, which makes it almost useless.
Would better in-game LFG tool or any other solution to speed up the process of getting a group together, help us in this? Is there even a way to achieve this?
I've been thinking a lot about this problem, as it's also apparent in 1-50. Getting a group is a major pain in the behind if you are not playing with friends or similar.
I've been thinking what the reasons for players not using LFG tool, are?
Would it help if we had a window that showed us what groups are already forming? We could see there are several groups forming for this or that dungeon or quest and we could decide if we wanted to join one of them. A healer could see there is already a group with a tank and two dps players waiting and simply join them. This would also prevent DPS players which are in a large majority, to open multiple searches for the same thing.
This is just one idea, but I bet there are a lot of them among you. Let's give ZOS some proper, positive feedback and our ideas how to improve what is becoming a big problem for a large part of player base.
