When is the be to time to go to PTS?

If you live in the US,Arizona to be exact,what would be the best time to be in PTS? I've been there three different times with a newly made char,and only saw two people. This isnt a rant,just trying to figure out the best times to be there. I may not care for being forced into a group situation,but sometimes it is a lot of fun to run by someone and stop and fight with them.Especially when you know they are outmatched. I do that a lot. Let them start the fight,then just drain the opponent enough they can kill it themselves.

You making a L1 toon or a vet level V14 toon?
Most are using templates and make maxed out toons and there are tons of players on, but L1 toon, no one.....

I am using a level 4 toon in PTS,and thought Id try him out to see how the differences for a low level char would be.It shouldnt be a problem.Or are the changes only being made for high level chars. So,if I use my Vet 4,people will be there.When I used him,nope,still no one.Not even for a level VR4 are there people? They didnt mention it wasnt for chars below level VR14.So its really only for those with maxed out chars? Got it. I guess I DLed it for nothing,but to take up my hard drive space. Oh well.thankd anyway for letting me know.

Some Things that you wrote are very irritating. I try to explain my Line of Sight.

1. The Title "Where all the People" suggest that your Thread is another "The Game is Doomed because there are no People in it" Thread. It is Misleading. Please change that, maybe in "PTS-Where all the People". And i think you should post this in the PTS Forum.

2. You said that Zenimax didnt mention it that the PTS isnt for Character below the VR14 Rank. How you can say that, it is not logical. If you want to test a Character below VR14, then you can do this.

If other Players want to test VR14 Characters they can do this too. If you search other Players at lower Level to test something and cant find them, it is not Zenimax fault. It is a Player Thing. This is a PTS, there arent so much Players like in Game.

I dont see the Logic if you say the Changes are all only for higher Characters, because you dont see lower Ones on the PTS. Some of the Changes are for higher Levels like the 9er Sets maybe and some are for all Levels, like WW/Stamina changes. As i said before, how can you throw this together?

Your Thread reads like, "damn PTS, it doesnt works right because Zenimax dont want to have low Level Players there. I am angry about my invested Time, thats not ok".

Please read the Infos above, you will see you can do and test all what you want, and if you search some other Players to help or only have some Fun, the Main Game is a better Option then. It is your Choice but your Line of Sight and the Thread Title isnt very fair.

I think it could happen that the Thread will be transfered into the PTS Forum and maybe you change the Title before a Mod will do this. I think you want to talk over the right Thing, or not?

The PTS was pretty sparse when I popped in there. I was curious about the undaunted quests and dungeon scaling, and was hoping there would be a few other people in there exploring the same new mechanics. I managed to team up with one other person, which was not quite enough people for a couple of the bosses in the dungeon (we were both VR14, so everything scaled to vr12).

There isn't much benefit to playing the PTS, you don't get any reward for the time you spend in there, so I don't think most people are interested in it.

Meh if you don't have a group of people prior to going to PTS, you won't have much luck doing something grouped in any case..

I picked up the undaunted pledges, but since I'm there basically alone, so all I did was go into Tempest Island, which was the non-vet daily and my character is VR14 and the mobs were VR12. The vet dungeon I got was Darkshade.

I don't agree with one of the posters here. your title was not misleading or overly complain-y. I experience the same difficulty with one of my VR2 characters. it feels like there's no one sometimes, and as I climb higher through the Veteran ranks, I know (from past experiences) it becomes much worse. I'm left mewing like a wet kitten on the zone chat for people to come help me out.

If my post irritates you,just ignore it.I dont plan to change anything. It's still going to be "where are all the people". And I never even hinted at PTS not working.You just cant read right,I think.I just asked a question about when would be the best time to go there to play.I'd like to find a couple of people and try to do some dungeons for a change,as I tend to run solo usually. Also,I have no invested time in PTS because I dont find anyone to do anything with. The place works fine,I guess.If you read the comments,you'll see that other peopole dont mind this post,and some even said they experienced the same thing.
I have every right to put up this post the way it is written.It's a forum for just that.
If this gets moved,I'll know who complained about it.

Although I could have been nicer, my post was not to the OP. It was to the person making a disparaging reference to 700k subscribers when the OP is referring to the PTS and not the live servers. THAT person needs to learn about the PTS. And to the person who he was replying to which was also commenting on things like we were talking about the live servers and not the PTS.

This should very definitely be on the PTS forum. It's nothing to do with General Discussion about the Live servers, it's purely related to the Public Test Server. It's obviously already confused some, and will only get more derailed as it continues to confuse people who look at the title and see it as another doom and gloom topic. It raises a perfectly valid and reasonable question, but with a title that is misleading purely because the post is on the wrong board.

Well,if they remove it,fine. I just asked a damn question about when was the best *** time to go to PTS to play because when I went to the PTS discussion,there was nothing there but tech stuff.

May I suggest that if you ask your question on the PTS board it is more likely to be read by people who frequent that server, and therefore you're more likely to get a helpful answer. Now you've changed the title you may get an answer here, but you were never going to with the original title.

Why should this be on the PTS forum? Zeni has asked more players to use the PTS, checkout changes, and test their new content. A lack of testers is an issue that affects the general community, as content that moves from PTS to live will have less input \ feedback from the player community. That issue will have more visibility in the general discussion forum.

Because the OP is asking what time of day most people are on the PTS, and the people most likely to spot the question and answer it are the ones reading the PTS forum because they play on that server.

It's the same with technical support. There are separate forums for that and you're more likely to get a problem resolved there, including responses by the ZOS technical reps.

Instead, everyone dumps their posts on General Discussion regardless of what they're about, and so they get buried in the usual avalanche of "nerf this, buff that, Cyrodil sux" topics and polls.

I've been in many different forum topics and have seen conversations about PTS,which is how I found out about it myself.I didnt just run to the PTS site to look for it. If someone on general discussions hadnt been talking about it I really wouldnt have paid any attention to it on the Launcher notifications.

I never said anything was "illogical".I wasnt stating anything.I was actually asking if this or that was the case.I think you chose to read in negativity,rather than anything else.I never said anything at all about it "not working because Zenimax doesnt want low level,.."blah,blah,blah.I never said anything was Zenimax's fault.Actually,I never even mentioned them.
If you have a problem about my posting it here,please feel free to report it.It's been here a while and no one except y ou has groused about it.
As I said,I was only asking questions,and wondering if what I was thinking was correct,or not.And everyone but you has given me constructive thoughts,and I thank them for it.

Well, then the point still remains don't you think? It is quite simple to move your thread to PTS section for a time and see if people posting/reading there provide more answers. It doesn't cost you anything and can easily be reversed if you wish. You have the control on the edit button.

As for what times are best, I have been on PTS extensively and I am in CA. I have found lots more people when I have been on in the evenings after 6pm during the wekk, and then on the weekends pretty much in middle of afternoon, especially in Cyrodill I have seen a lot of players - but I am also playing my main who is VR14, so I cannot be of help with what the zones are like for lower level characters.

As to the ranking of characters,I have a VR4 and two lower chars.I dont seem to find a lot of people doing quests for either rank.Most people I have seen are just bouncing around,showing off their armor and mounts,etc. Thank you for your input.It's appreciated. :}
