Is werewolf removal bugged like Vampire removal is?

I read -don't know if still accurate- that Curing vampirism can often incur a bug whereby you don't get refunded all the skill points appropriately.

Is this the case with werewolf or is it fine to acquire n drop?

Always respec before you drop Vamp or WW to make sure you get the points back.

Yeah I just did before dropping vamp, but it THIRTEEN and a half, THOUSAND gold. I can't afford to be doing that every day.
I want ZoS to fix it, and notification if and when they have.

Has dropping Vampire or Werewolf ever worked in that fashion? As I understand it the requirement for redistributing skill points before being cured has always been there.

It's intended. So no so-called "bug", no need to "make sure".

Zenimax said it was on purpose, so that if you want to go back to Vamp/WW, your points will still be where you spend them. It may be questionable, but for once, it is not a bug.

There is no bug, if you Cure Vamp or Werewolf and do not get the skill points back.

You just have to respec to get all those spent points back.

In any case, you'll have to respec to re-acquire the spent skill points, either before or after the curing.

Silicon Hobbit. I'm guessing you're new to these here parts. What we're talking about here is the feature that requires you to hit the reset on your skills BEFORE you take the cure. Otherwise your skill points in WW or Vamp get locked away and don't come back without getting reinfected.

Curing vampirism simply makes the skill line invisible/inaccessible to you. Other than that, it behaves like any other skill line - any points allocated to it stay allocated to it unless you respec. This is regardless of whether you can or can not currently see the line.

If you have points in vamp, cure vamp, and then respec, you get the points back same as from any other skill line.

Doesn't matter. You can cure then respec and get all your skillpoints back.

It's the same. Skill points you spend stay spent. The skills are no longer accessible in your UI, but your character still has them, and they're still spent. I think the Addon that shows spent skill points continues to track them. They're just where you left them.

If you respec, you'll get the points spent on the invisible line back, or at least you should. But, either way, they both behave in the same way.

The best way is to first respec all skill points (not just the morphs), then cure, then reallocate your skill points.

EDIT: If you're not planning to get re-infected.

FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

I'm neither new to these parts, nor am I confused about what this topic is discussing.

I've been both a Vampire and a Werewolf and had both of them cured. In both cases I respecced AFTER I cured the 'disease' simply because that's how I chose to do it.

I could have easily chosen to respec BEFORE I got them cured, and had all of my spent skill points available the moment I got the cure.

My original comment stands as it is, and is completely valid in this discussion.

Thank you, have a nice day. :p
