Is there a way to just LEAVE or UNASSIGN a home campaign?

I'm kinda stuck when trying to switch PvP campaigns. I have EP and DC toons that need to switch to different campaigns. Unfortunately, they're stuck with the "You have an opposing faction character already in that campaign" error message. Perhaps I'm missing something very obvious, but I haven't seen an option to just leave a campaign. Only switch. I try to set both to switch at the end of the campaign cycle, but no joy. Am I missing something really obvious?

There's nothing to do and they still haven't fixed it. Which makes me a bit angry!

You cannot. If you have alts in different factions created before about 1.3 or so, they were automatically assigned a campaign. Sheer annoyance. The only way to fix that is to either level to 10 and change campaign or put in a ticket. Alternately delete them and remake as new characters don't have a home set at all. Chances are this is what you're encountering.

Yeah, we need a "unassigned home/guest" campaign button.

Yeah, deleting the characters is not an option. I'll try submitting a ticket via the website. I've submitted a ticket in game, but heard nothing back. Though I've had better results submitting tickets from the Web. So I'll go that route. Basically asking them to remove all characters from their respective home campaigns, and then go from there.

Don't forget to ask to remove their guest campaigns too. Many of the CS people are overworked and if the request is possible will do exactly as requested and close your ticket. In this case, JUST your home campaigns ;) GL getting it resolved.

Alternatively you could join up and get 15k AP (easy enough, just defend a keep or 3) and set your guest, then home to the 7 day with the option to not renew your home at the end if CS can't help. Getting to level 10 is simple enough too.

There are a number of treads on this already. Basically you have at least four campaigns to work with. You're going to have to move whoever is easier to a holding campaign, than move the the other character into the vacated campaign. Finally move the first character into the right campaign. It's 15k AP to move a character if you don't wait till the end of the campaign. (Remember also, you can make a guest campaign also your home, but you can't make a home campaign also your guest. You may need to exit the character out of Cyrodiil to wait out any lock outs. )

If you are just looking to play with a friend however, you can apparently still use the travel to player to get into a campaign even if you have a character in a different faction set to it. Despite the need for the restriction, they still haven't patched this one hole.
