All fancy stuff, with GTX980, Haswell-E CPU, and 10fps in mid to large scale cyrodiil battles.

Good game ZOS, may want to update your recommended computer requirements to quantum computers, they may make it playable...

I have reason to believe that this will be shut down quickly...

Screenshots with FPS on screen for proof? or better yet, a video?

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

That's odd. My GTX 780 OC and Core i7 3.4ghz runs this game beween 25-30 fps during big battles in cyrodil, I do have a SSD and 12 gb ram played on ultra high settings. Maybe your drivers are out of date? Besides, the 900 series cards probably haven't been optimized yet, I remember a simple driver update went into affect and my performance in Crysis 3 increased by almost 40%. So wait for a driver update from Nvidia or suck it up.

It's nvidia surround, so will have lower fps than on one screen, but it's same like on my gtx 680 with surround, but 10-15fps in fights is ridiculous nonetheless.

it's the latest drivers, 344.16. Getting exact same results with the gtx680, hence I am both surprised and annoyed that the 980 doesn't yield any difference.

Though even with the gtx680 I would expect (and had) 40 fps prior to 1.2.2 patch.

You're right that the 900 series is new and may need some optimization still, nonetheless I find it odd that a gfx card 2 gens newer (not counting the 800 series) shows no difference :|

WAY over kill for a gaming machine. Nonetheless, I've been looking at the Haswell-E as well

Anyhow, it's not the game, its your computer dude. My way lesser AMD 965 has better performance.

Your problem is drivers, they aren't optimized yet, wait a few days for an update, maybe it will fix this. And thats very common - Nvidia always have problems with drivers, thats why I got radeon for my new pc, havent seen a fps problem/crash for more than a year....

I don't know if this is a little late but here goes. I have a similar system with Haswell-E 5930K @ 4Ghz, Gigabyte GTX 980 Gaming G1, ESO on SSD and 32GB ram and i get between 25-~50 in big battles, I haven't seen the lag(unplayable) I got with Core i5 3570K. Hope this helps.
