Im curious because as a templar i feel as if i have to use Light Armor to be viable but i hate the look and would rather wear Heavy Armor ^^

I use Dunmer heavy chest and shoulders with the rest as Dunmer cloth. The cloth hat has a nice mask with metal blades, and part of the pants works well as a metallic part. Everything else matches pretty well too.

I used to be full heavy, so this didn't feel like too far of a step for me. Kind of hating myself for switching to cloth though, but the game feels so much easier now. Might be a long time before I go back to stamina.

There will be new armor sets for the alliances soon. There the light armor looks very great (medium and heavy, too) and its mixed with some "heavy pieces".

For example this picture from the Quakecon 2014 for ebonheart-pact (the other alliances look very great too):

But the new Dwemer-Light-Armor looks very nice too.

I find that wearing a medium or heavy chest makes a big difference aesthetically. Also, both the medium and heavy Dunmer boots "feel" heavier than many of the other so-called heavy boots (primal heavy boots are like sandals). You still get at least the 5 bonus from LA and can use Warlock if needed.

Dwemer will be a nice addition.... and can't wait for glass.

Dunmer Light Armour can look like Medium/heavy Armour, This is my Spidersilk Dunmer Light Armour, Just dye it in Volunteers Iron, Or Atmoran Bronze or some metal looking colour.

Oh the Trousers are a drop so ignore them, and use a different helmet.

Not to be picky, but the dwemer helmet looks just as *** as most of the current head gear.
