Cyrodiil - once again a mess

Since yesterday, Cyrodiil seem to have become more buggy again. Here's some of the things I encounter - some are old issues, some are new, and some are old issues being back with a vengeance.

1. Continiously getting stuck in the "charge" animation (invasion and toppling charge)
2. Spawning dead at forward camps (have to relog to fix)
3. Crashing or disconnecting several times an hour.
4. Reflective scales not reflecting projectiles.
5. Reflective scales absorbing projectiles but doesn't return them to sender.
6. Seeing double forward camps right next to each other.
7. Weapon swapping is sluggish again.
8. Not being able to swap weapons outside of combat when running.
9. FPS dropping to sub-20 and stays there.
10. Nova still fizzles
11. Soul assault fizzles
12. Reflected projectiles sometimes do damage to you even though they haven't reached you.
13. When reflected, solar flare's healing debuff sometimes instantly triggers on you or triggers even if you dodge the projectile.
14. Have to press door 3-4 times before they activate.
15. Sometimes you cannot target people on seige even though you're right behind them and have them soft-locked.
16. I cannot destroy enemy seige due to latency.
17. Tons and tons and tons of combat animations aren't being rendered in fights.
18. Finding myself out of phase with group mates all the time - even if we're just two in the party.
19. Still getting some extremely long load times, even when just using the transitus system.
20. Health bar is still often out of sync.

There, just had to mention a nice round number of issues, but I could go on. Sorry if it comes across negatively, but these are real issues that needs to be fixed... and it helped a little with the frustration to get it off my chest.

    Everytime one of those big sieges, like Faregyl on Saturday, happen the Thornblade server sucks wind until the next maintenance.

    They really need to address some of these problems with the community. This was "suppose" to be their grand endgame war. Its a joke and they should apologize for selling it to us.

    Last night at Aleswell I was able to just stand there in the middle of 20+ EP and not take a single bit of damage and repair the wall at the same time due to the lag.

    Yeah, these issues have never been fixed so I believe it is important to continiously draw attention to them. I know for a fact that a lot of this gets lost in the chain of command and never reaches the right people.

    And add to the list:

    21. When you have someone soft-targeted, you can shoot him through walls (to some extend) with overload.
    22. Often when your character is being hit by multiple enemies, your abilities won't trigger and your character can become catatonic - even though you've got plenty of resources.

    I am having no issues with reflective scales at all. Strange.

    But yeah, everything else is fcked. I actually counted my crashes yesterday, played in the afternoon and evening in Cyrodiil and crashed 15 times. Also havibg weird lag, almost always stuck in the Invasion animation... sigh.

    When this game launched it ran beautifully for me. Now with every patch I seem to go downhill on performance. I went from not crashing ever to 2x an hour at least now. No error code no nothing, just back to the log in screen or straight to desktop.




    but, I have armor dyes so I got that going for me.

    I have not seen a crystal shard reflect since the update. Combat cloud says "reflected" but I never see the shard actually reflect. I experience this from actual sorcs and resource tower mage guards.

    Also getting out of combat is still a pain in the butt for anyone using heals especially rapid regen.

    Edit: I saw 1 frag actually reflect. Also died about 5x in 45m due to hot swap not happening.

    Last night, I saw something I haven't seen before. An outer wall kept taking damage but no visible siege was shooting at it. Even when it eventually fell I stood in the gap and wasn't hit with anything but I still couldn't repair because the wall was supposedly taking damage.

    This is only if you fire the projectile before they go behind cover. They travel pretty slow so it can be deceiving.

    23. In Cyrodiil the NPCs guards on flags from outposts, keeps and ressources (not the menders) often have their health that pops back to 100% although there are no menders left around to heal them.
    Probably not noticeable when you play in a zerg, but absolutely critical when you're in very small numbers versus very small numbers...
    This has been going on since ages.

    Last night was very bad - My screen just keep freezing up and kicking me back to login screen every 5 minutes. Interestingly enough when my screen is frozen (no movement of any pc or nps or myself) I can still submit a bug report. I think I was up to 11 bug reports before calling it for the night.

    I think the entire DC and AD population being at one keep might have something to do with it...

    Just about everything the OP has listed is due to LAG. Lag over the net, lag from the servers, lag from 2387857473 players at one keep, Lag lag lag. There needs to be a reduction in population on the servers. Hopefully after 1.5 with the emp and PvE buffs changing this will sort itself out. Maybe people will move their asses to Azura, and we'll get at least 2 servers with something resembling a balanced Pop.

    I play a DK and haven't noticed this issue with reflective scale. I DO know that there was a fix mentioned for this in the PTS notes. So if anything, it should be better after 1.5.

    Lag isn't the only factor because I am crashing on both Haderus and Thornblade, although much more on the latter. Something is wrong with the code for this game, I crash even in PvE although that is much more sporadic. Cyrodiil is borderline unplayable at the moment.

    I don't have this problem with any other game so...yeah.

    Then they should cap the population at something there servers can handle. Do not blame the players, ZoS needs to admit they bit off more than they can chew end of story.

    I recently moved to Haderus from Thornblade, and I can confirm these problems exist there as well. They are much less frequent however. In three days I've crashed once, I still crash to desktop about 10 or so times a day, and once I could not, for the life of my little nightblade, open the damned keep door. There is almost no lag though, which helps a lot. Better than Thornblade, but there's clearly still a lot left to be desired.

    This is sometimes a distance issue / bug. Often when a ballista is on top of a resource tower almost volleying to the keep wall it takes damage and yet you take no damage from the ballista bolt when standing in the spot it is supposedly striking.

    Sadly so many are excited about the Imperial City and all I can do is cringe. Is our "mega" server going to be able to handle this. How many new bugs / issues / newly discovered exploits will this bring to Alliance War. When I shake my magic eight-ball it says "Without a Doubt" - sometimes feels like this is what Zos consults when it comes to Alliance War :P.

    I've played a DK since Marts 2013 and I have not seen reflective scales as glitchy as they are now. It is happening in small lag-free skirmishes as well. I've done several tests already where I just position myself in front of a crowd and just spam scales and still projectiles goes through continiously while some randomly are thrown back.

    24. I am rarely able to block streak anymore, either.
    25. I almost always have to swap weapons in order to interact with doors in Cyrodiil. Hate to see that this one has returned again.

    Was this on the lumber mill side of Faregyl?

    this, so much this. With every patch I am afraid how much worse the breakage will be compared to before...
